A range of retailers are listing the PlayStation Portal online however whether or not you'll be able to get your hands on stock is another question.

First announced back in May under the name Project Q, Sony has now finally released its PlayStation Portal, a cloud streaming device that connects to your PS5. PlayStation Portal pre-orders were originally only available directly from the PlayStation store but now that the device is out, you can find a range of retailers now stocking the handheld.

Customers are limited to purchasing one PlayStation Portal per order due to high demand when purchasing from Sony. Some other retailers don't have this rule in place for the PS5 remote player. The PlayStation Portal price sits at £199.99 / $199.99, which converts to roughly AU$313. However, direct regional pricing is rarely a straight conversion and Sony is yet to confirm if and when the handheld will be hitting Australian markets.

The PlayStation Portal retail page states that the device can only be used with PS5 consoles meaning those who only own previous-gen consoles are out of luck here. This is followed up with the fact that only one PlayStation Portal can be connected to a PS5 console at any time.

If you're hoping to get your hands on the PlayStation Portal then you can find the links directly below. You need a PS5 in order to use the handheld so be sure to check out our cheap PS5 sales if you're yet to upgrade to the current generation of gaming.
