Decorating your home for Christmas is really exciting, and one woman has gone above and beyond with her tasty tree offering - and it only cost her £30.

But despite the tree looking good enough to eat, it's not actually edible - as it's all creatively made from "cardboard and foam clay." Michelle Jollands took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook to share how you can make a truly showstopping tree this year, sharing that it was really cheap to make her tree look so fantastic.

The colourful creation really stands out, and it's adorned with nostalgic sweets that are loved by many. Michelle admitted that she wanted to "inspire" people to do similar things with their own trees this year.

She posted on the group: "This is my next very colourful tree! Pick n Mix inspired tree. The large and small gummy bears are polystyrene which I painted with acrylic paint, 90% of the decorations are cardboard and foam clay mixed with acrylic paints. decorations. The total cost for all decorations was around £30 and lots of crafting fun, I really hope I've inspired you to create your own things for your tree."

In the comments, Michelle received lots of praise for her creativity. One wrote: "Wow! I wish I was this creative. Well done it looks absolutely beautiful." Another gushed: "Oh wowwwwww!!! This is the best I've ever seen absolutely amazing and very creative."

Others pointed out that the tree 'wasn't to their taste', but despite this, they said they "absolutely loved it." One mum said: "This is absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How talented are you!", and she then admitted she was going to show her kids, but "they'd ask her to replicate it", and she joked she wasn't that talented.

A shopkeeper praised: "Omg this is amazing, I voluntarily run a community sweet shop selling old traditional penny sweets, and we need you to come and do a tree for us. That is honestly the best sweet tree I've ever seen, absolutely love it, well done."
