Carla's dad was furious at the decorations going up so early, ranting 'it's f***ing November'

A dad has gone viral after his family captured his Scrooge-esque reaction to the Christmas decorations going up in November.

Carla Scott Grant shared the clip of her dad's response as his family festooned the home in Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire, as he proclaims "it's f***ing November, for f***s sake!" while insisting "I'm not being a bitter mug".

Carla's dad rants: "It's November. It's not the middle of November, not the end of November, it's near the start. Firework night was only the other night," adding it's not even "December first" and "Halloween was just the other night".

A woman off camera responds "it's tradition" before he comes back with "it's not the tradition, it's not my tradition". The clip posted on Thursday has been viewed 1.4million times, racking up nearly 67,000 likes.

Social media users were quick to comment on the dad's rant, Glasgow Live reports. One wrote: "Classic Scottish dad's reaction to the tree going up in November." Another said: "This is hilarious. My man would be the same if I wanted to put the tree up in November."
