John Lewis Christmas advert 2023 merch including Venus flytrap and PJs
John Lewis has finally released its Christmas advert for 2023 - and the retailer has confirmed exactly how fans can get their hands on all the merchandise to go alongside it.
This year’s offering starts with a young boy who wants to grow a plant from seed. He thinks he is growing a Christmas tree - but the plant turns out to be a mischievous Venus flytrap called Snapper.
Snapper eventually grows too big for the living room and is thrown out into the cold - but the advert has a happy ending when he is embraced back into family life. The message of the commercial is the joy of celebrating old and new traditions, with the family seen accepting Snapper as their unconventional Christmas tree.
Like with previous years, John Lewis will be selling a whole host of gifts for fans of the commercial to snap up, including a Venus flytrap plant for £10. Shoppers will also find a plush version of Snapper for £18, along with kids pyjamas for £19 and a story book for £9.99. You can find a full list of all the products below.
You can buy your very own Venus flytrapWorld renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli sings an original song called “Festa”, which means “celebration”, for this year’s commercial, with a proportion of the proceeds from charity single going to John Lewis Building Happier Futures charities.
