Prince George and Princess Charlotte are just like many other children in many ways - especially when it comes to them being mischievous.

The pair of them proved just how cheeky they can be when they went on a trip in 2019 to the seaside to watch their parents, The Prince and Princess of Wales, go head to head in a charity sailing regatta.

George and Charlotte were in a boat with their grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton as they cheered on their parents and other celebrities that were taking part in the race - which Bear Grylls ended up winning.

But Bear Grylls ended up dropping Prince George in it as he picked up his trophy, revealing that the young royal had done something rather bizarre during the afternoon - leaving his mum Kate in hysterics.

Bear said: "And also Prince George, your first ant you ate today. And that is a great moment. Well done you."

Kate and William, who were standing at the side of the stage, seemed to find the whole thing hilarious and were spotted laughing as he shared his observation. And George wasn't the only royal tot feeling a bit mischievous at the event, which was organised to raise cash and awareness for Kate and William's charities.

The Duchess took little Charlotte to look out of the window before the prize giving, but instead of showing off her royal wave the little princess stuck out her tongue. Kate also seemed to find this cute display hilarious, but despite her laughs and huge smile, she quickly leaned forward to say something to her daughter, then she turned her away from the window to make her stop being so cheeky.

It wasn't the first time we've seen the little princess pulling the face, and she was also caught doing it on the way to Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle. Charlotte's uncle Prince Harry was known for poking his tongue out at photographers when he was a little boy, so there is a chance he might have been passing on his cheeky habits to his niece.

There are countless photos of a young Harry pulling the adorable face, including some at important events such as Trooping the Colour and Royal weddings.
