Sophie Turner has been romantically linked to aristocrat Peregrine Pearson after separating from her husband Joe Jonas.

The actor, 27, and singer-songwriter Joe, 34, announced their separation in a joint statement that was shared with their fans back in September. The former couple - who have two children together - have been married since 2019.

She's since been spotted kissing Peregrine, 29. Sophie - who is best known for her role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones - and the aristocrat were reportedly seen embracing whilst out in Paris over the weekend.

According to the Sun, a source said the pair were together outside a railway station and "arrived together". The source added: "They stood there for a few minutes [...] chatting and laughing a lot. He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss they parted ways."

A source has told Us Weekly: "Sophie is open to the idea of dating again." They further commented: "She isn't fully committed to anybody at the moment, but she's definitely putting herself out there and keeping her options open."

Discussing the actor's relationship with Peregrine, a source said that they are "not serious at all" and that Sophie is "casually dating a few people". They said that she's "shown interest" in a few men but isn't "jumping into anything".

Who are Peregrine's family?

Peregrine is the eldest son of Michael Pearson, 79, and his second wife Marina Cordle, 63. His father Michael is the fourth Viscount Cowdray, whilst Marina is the daughter of the late Conservative Party poltician John Cordle. It was reported by the Daily Mail in August that Michael and Marina had separated after more than 30 years of marriage.

Michael is believed to have worked in the film industry at one point, with him said to have been involved in the production of the film Vanishing Point (1971). His ancestor Samuel Pearson founded the firm Pearson plc, which was initially in construction but is now known as a publishing and education company.

Michael inherited his family's estate of Cowdray in West Sussex after his father, John Pearson, died in 1995. According to the Sun, the family are said to be worth £224 million.

According to Tatler, the Cowdray estate covers a vast 16,500-acre area and has been owned by the family for more than a century. The estate is said to include wedding venues, holiday cottages and Cowdray House. There's understood to also be a polo club within the estate.

Sophie's estranged husband Joe has a famous family himself, with him known as a member of the award-winning band the Jonas Brothers with his siblings Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas. Nick is married to actor Priyanka Chopra, whilst Kevin's married to Danielle Jonas.

Peregrine - who has been described as "one of Britain's most eligible bachelors" recently - is said to have once been in a relationship with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, 27. She's a member of the non-reigning Greek royal family and is the granddaughter of the late Constantine II of Greece.

Olympia - who is the goddaughter of King Charles III - is said to have been in a relationship with Peregrine for around three years. It was however reported earlier this year by the Daily Mail that the former couple had separated.

Sophie's husband Joe had been in some high-profile relationships himself prior to their romance. He's notably dated fellow celebrities such as singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and Twilight star Ashley Greene.

What's Peregrine's job?

Peregrine is a partner at property investment and development company Weetman. The firm shares its name with his late grandfather Weetman Pearson, who shared the name with his own father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

A profile for Peregrine on the company's website states: "Previously with the Cowdray Estate, with whom he retains a strong affiliation, his focus was on tenant and landlord matters as well as more strategic planning opportunities including the delivery of 60 new homes in the heart of the estate. He started his career working as an assistant site manager for Cordles, a London based contractor."

Sophie's estranged husband Joe rose to fame as a member of the Jonas Brothers and appeared in the film Camp Rock (2008). The actor and singer has also been a judge on the Voice in Australia, as well as having been credited as a judge and producer on MTV's Becoming A Popstar last year. The Jonas Brothers released their sixth studio album The Album earlier this year and are underway with their Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour.
