1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton 'struggles to breathe' with major health issue
Tammy Slaton was recently spotted having a hard time breathing outside her home after coming down with what is reportedly a lung infection.
The 37-year-old TLC star was snapped as she emerged from a car's passenger seat while being dropped off by someone at home. She was wearing black pants and a black shirt with a striped grey and white cardigan over it. She also wore her signature glasses and had a sort of ascot around her neck.
Tammy, who rose to fame on 1000-lb Sisters, could be seen holding onto her car door in some of the photos. In one photo she really held onto the door and rested her hand on her leg, seemingly struggling to breathe.

A source who witnessed Tammy told The U.S. Sun, who also obtained the pictures, that after she got out of the car she immediately grabbed the door and stopped to catch her breath. She also put her hand to her chest, as if it hurt.
My 600lb Life star unveils 40 stone weight loss after being unable to stand upAs she walked to her front door, it seemed like her walk was slower and more laborious, according to the source. Tammy was recently in Atlanta, taking a six-hour road trip there from her house to shoot footage for her television show, 1000-lb Sisters.
Some sources state that while in the Georgia capital, Tammy came down with pneumonia. The National Institute of Health says that it takes about a week or two to recover from her lung infection.
Though she seems to be a bit poorly at the moment, she's been an "inspiration to many" after losing hundreds of pounds since first appearing on our television screens in 2020. In the first season of 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy weighed about 717lb (51.2 stone). But after some time at a food rehabilitation centre, she's lost around 400 pounds (28.6 stone).
Last week Tammy posted a video on TikTok where she lip-synced along to a song as she held her sister's son. In the comments of the video, fans left loving messages for the TV star about how she inspires them. "I'm so proud of you I've watched you forever and I'm happy for you.... YOU GO GIRL!!!!!" one person commented. Another added: "I am so proud of you girl. You are an inspiration to many. big hugs."
