Ivanka Trump shock and hidden anxiety in grinning Bday pics ahead of testifying
Just hours after Ivanka Trump learned she must testify in her father's civil fraud trial, she was celebrating her 42nd birthday with friends and family. However, the grinning snaps she shared show her shock and hidden anxiety, according to a body language expert.
She celebrated her birthday with a dinner at her waterfront mansion on the Indian Creek Island in Miami over the weekend, sharing photos from the event on her Instagram on Monday. The former White House advisor was snapped posing with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, at the newly renovated property.
However, body language expert Judi James has said hints of "shock" showed through her usual "frozen-looking state of calm elegance". On Friday, New York Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Ivanka must testify at her father Donald's civil fraud trial, denying a motion from her attorneys to quash a subpoena for her testimony.

Judge Engoron went on to deny a follow-up request from Trump's attorney Chris Kise to entertain a deposition from Ivanka taken in Florida. He noted he prefers to hear testimony life in court, saying: "We want her here in person."
That bombshell appears to have been weighing on Ivanka's mind over her birthday weekend, with Judi saying the birthday snaps she shared showed "some inner anxiety or feelings of pressure". Judi's analysis of the photos showed there may be some cracks forming as she gets ready to take the stand on November 8, with her testimony having been delayed so there is sufficient time for her to be questioned.

This is a woman who appeared all through her father's presidency in a frozen-looking state of calm elegance and her smiles here suggest she is trying to do the same but her subtler body language cues hint at some inner anxiety or feelings of pressure."
Ivanka donned a pink spaghetti-strap mini dress with open bell sleeves held together with rhinestone bows in a look that complemented her decor. Ivanka's long dining room table was decorated with colourful flowers and pink napkins, having been set up in front of the pool for a night of al fresco dining.

"Hugging her husband and her son her look was probably supposed to be playful and relaxed, but instead she looks slightly vulnerable, with her torso turned into and pressed against Jared as he holds her hand protectively and places his other arm around her waist."
Jared, 42, took a more casual approach to his outfit in a white T-shirt, khaki pants and white Nike sneakers. 10-year-old Joseph and seven-year-old Theodore matched their dad's look in white button-down shirts, khakis and tan loafers. The couple's daughter, Arabella, 12, was the spitting image of her mum in a long-sleeve olive green dress and sandals.

Her smiles don't quite reach her eyes and her mouth shape might be symmetric but without the more relaxed crinkling to signal playful fun."
Ivanka is set to take to the witness stand on Wednesday at the end of a blockbuster stretch in a case that threatens to disrupt her family's real estate empire. She'll be testifying hours before her father holds a campaign rally in Miami near the televised debate he's skipping with rivals for the Republican party's presidential nomination.

She alleged they conspired to exaggerate his wealth on financial statements that were used to secure loans and make deals in the city.
Ivanka, a former executive at her father's Trump Organization, was originally listed as a defendant in James' lawsuit, but an appeals court dismissed her from the case in June saying claims against her were too old. Originally due to precede her dad on the witness stand, Ivanka will now follow him as the final witness called by James' lawyers.
