KFC is offering fans 50% off food each week in January - but there is a catch

KFC fans will be happy to hear that throughout January, the fried chicken chain will be offering 50% off one of their fan-favourite menu items.

If you've not got a New Year's resolution to eat healthier then this is one for you as each week for the next five weeks, KFC will highlight one of its best-loved items and make it half-price for the entire week.

To kick off 2023, the fast food chicken chain will be offering the half-price discount on its four-piece Boneless Meal which features four chicken breast mini fillets, with a KFC Original Dip of choice, a regular side, and a drink.

This meal would usually set you back £7.99, however, KFC will be selling it for just £3,99 this week.

The discount for the meals will be available from today, Tuesday, January 3, right up until Sunday, January 8 however, there is a slight catch KFC fans should be aware of.

The 50% discounts are going to be offered exclusively to those who use the KFC app when buying their meals in-store only.

To redeem the discount, you must be signed in to your KFC account on the app and scan the offer’s QR code at the till when you make your purchase.

KFC fans can redeem the offer when they place an “Order for Pickup” too, all they need to do is to order their meal through the KFC app and collect their order.

The popular fast-food brand has said the offer is only available at participating stores you should make sure your local KFC is able to redeem your discount before you head on down.

For those eager to know what meal they can try next will be you will have to hold your horses as the KFC discount offer will be announced on Monday 9 January with the next offer announced on the KFC app every Monday after this.

If you haven't got the KFC app right now, don't worry it is available to download from the Apple APP store or through Google Play.

KFC shares all of its offers through its app, for both online and in-restaurant, so if you're a fried-chicken lover then it's probably a great app to have on your phone.
