10 of the best Halloween films for kids on Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Paramount+
Halloween is almost upon us, and as the kids take a well-earned break this half term, they may be keen to get into the spooky spirit. So if you’re looking for some films to keep them entertained but are unsure what’s suitable for the little terrors, we have you covered.
There are plenty of great films perfect for children available to watch on streaming services this All Hallows’ Eve. Across Amazon’s Prime Video, Disney+ and Paramount+, there is everything from animated classics to brand-new blockbusters.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania

Haunted Mansion

Little Shop of Horrors
In this 80s horror musical, Seymour (Rick Moranis) works in a rundown flower shop on New York City’s Skid Row and seeks a way of bringing the shop – and himself – fame and fortune. He buys an exotic plant – which he names after his colleague Audrey – that proves good for business, but he becomes horrified to learn that it craves human blood to satisfy its appetite.

Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats
In this new Halloween stop-motion special, Mickey and gang are trick-or-treating when Donald spies the spookiest mansion he’s ever seen. With the belief that the spookiest house has the best treats, he convinces his friends to risk a visit.
But it turns out that the owner of the place is Witch Hazel, who doesn’t have any treats and instead casts a spell on them.
Rated 7+ for several frightening images that may be unsuitable for very young children.

Monster High: The Movie

Halloweentown
In this classic 1998 Disney Channel Original Movie, Marnie (Kimberly J. Brown) and her younger siblings travel with their estranged grandmother – who is a good witch – to Halloweentown, a place where creepy creatures live very normal lives. On her thirteenth birthday, Marnie gets a supernatural surprise when she learns that she is a witch too.
Marnie will have to learn how to use her broomstick if she hopes to stop an evil force from taking over Halloweentown.

The Addams Family

But young Wednesday (Christina Ricci) barely has time to warm up her electric chair before Thing points out Fester's uncommonly “normal” behaviour. Could this Fester be a fake, part of an evil scheme to raid the Addams fortune?
