MTV's Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson mum-shamed over racy Playboy snaps
Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson has been targeted by trolls who have mum-shamed her for posting photos from her recent Playboy shoot.
The mum-of-two, who recently married partner and former X-Factor contestant Casey Johnson in a surprise wedding, posted a photo from the shoot on her main feed. She then reshared a series of posts on her story from supporters and the main Playboy Instagram account.
She also promoted her new account on the new Playboy platform, Playboy Plus, where content creators and adult performers can share X-rated photos and videos. Marnie wrote: "Come chat to me exclusively @playboy. Link on story."

One Instagram user commented: "Not sure how your kids are gonna feel about this as they get old… all their friends knowing your mam is selling her bits online, kids are gonna get slated... How embarrassing." Another sarcastically wrote: "Your children must be so proud," while a third jibed: "No class at all."
Despite Marnie's critics, many still complimented the 31-year-old on her achievement. It comes after she was told her weight loss "transformation" posts were "damaging" to young fans, after showing off her new body at the start of the year, with Bake Off star Laura Adlington questioning her intentions. On Boxing Day 2022, Marnie shared a link to her weight loss programme, which she claimed helped her to lose 2.5 stone in four months.

She could be seen wearing a matching gold two-piece gym set, explaining how she 'got back to feeling like the old Marnie'. "You've ALL been asking - so here IT IS!!!" she captioned the video. "So many of you have asked me how I've lost all this weight - 2 and a half Stone in 4 months! How mad?! And you wanted me to share HOW I've done it. Well, I knew there's no way that I could be jumping around pretending to be a personal trainer - because I'm not!! But you all wanted to know who I'd followed and got help from to do this sooo I've been scrabbling around trying to get it done for you in time for the New Year."
Explaining to fans she was sharing her diet plan and fitness programme, Marnie was thrilled to share her news with them. But GBBO star and plus-size advocate Laura Adlington wasn't impressed. Commenting on the video, Laura said: "I can't help but question why you've chosen to launch this on Boxing Day. It feels wrong to me, to profit off of people's insecurities when they haven't even digested their Turkey."
Defending herself, Marnie replied: "I've launched it on Boxing Day to motiv8 people hun maybe take your negative comments off my page, this is good vibe zone area ONLY!"
