Alex Scott breaks silence on Jess Glynne romance with first loved-up post
Alex Scott has sent a sweet message to Jess Glynne on her birthday, marking her first public acknowledgement of their relationship since it was reported that they were dating.
The English footballer took to Instagram on Friday to pay tribute to the singer turning 34, posting a picturesque snap in honour of the special event. "Happy new song day and you day," she wrote alongside a photo of Jess posing on a sun-drenched deck by a body of water. Alex also added an extract of the Grammy winner's latest tune, Friend of Mine, to the post.
It was recently reported that the former Lioness has been seeing Jess for months but is keeping a low-profile on their romance.

In her candid memoir, the 38-year-old reflected on the "heartbreak" she suffered following their breakup in 2013. The couple began dating in 2005 and even lived together, but ended up splitting in 2013 for various reasons. Alex has also said that Kelly's alcoholism was a factor in their breakup, admitting that it "didn't bode well" for their relationship.

Alex and Jess have appeared at the same events on a number of occasions over the past few months, including the Attitude Awards and the afterparty for David and Victoria Beckham's Netflix docuseries premiere. The two have also been seen grabbing coffee together in North London, where Jess is originally from.

"I remember Jamie Redknapp telling me 'There's a dating app Raya...' So I was on it but I was to scared to connect with anyone," she told the magazine. "For me, it's all about connection that instant connection with someone and conversation and I'm like 'Oh wow.'" The sports pundit also said that she'd 'love' to have kids in the future and would even do it alone, having previously not felt ready to be a mother.
