Holly Hagan explains the 'unromantic' method she used to get pregnant
Holly Hagan is pregnant with her first child and has revealed the methods she took in a bid to become a mum.
The former Geordie Shore star, 30, and footballer hubby Jacob Blyth, also 30, announced the exciting news in a sweet video on Instagram.
And now, the reality TV star has opened up on how she put their sex life on a schedule to ensure they got what the wanted.
After meeting in 2017, the pair who now live on the outskirts of Manchester tied the knot last year. They began trying for a baby while on honeymoon, but struggled to conceive.
After three months of trying, Holly confessed they opted for the "sperm meets egg" method - and fell pregnant that month.

From the eighth day of your cycle you’re supposed to have sex every other day. Then once you have a positive ovulation test you have sex every day for three days, then you skip a day and have sex again.
"It’s not the most romantic but it worked. We didn’t leave much room for error. It wasn’t some fairy tale!"
Jacob added that the honeymoon period was well and truly over after five years of being together and joked that he had added "baby making" into his daily schedule.
Taking to Instagram to share the pair's special news with her 4.2million followers, Holly captioned her announcement video: "Happy new year.. here's to our next chapter."
In it, Holly can be seen handing her man a shoe box and the camera catches his surprised look as he opens it and sees a positive pregnancy test inside.
Unable to hide their delight, they jump into each other's arms as they hug and kiss.
She was immediately inundated with congratulatory messages in her message section. Among those spreading the cheer was Megan McKenna, who thanked the couple for using her tune for the announcement.
Holly's best pal Charlotte Crosby, who also recently became a mother, left a sweet comment too, writing: "Oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
"I can sense some little besties forming!!!! Can’t wait to be moms together! We’ve been a lot of things in our life’s but moms really is the best TRUST ME."
