This Morning's Rochelle Humes has revealed for the first time that she suffered with a speech impediment during her childhood.

The 34 year old mum of three, who is married to JLS star Marvin Humes, appeared on Loose Women to discuss a mental health charity that she is associated with. But the attention soon turned to the former Saturdays singer after Ruth Langsford asked her to open up about overcoming a stammer during her childhood.

Rochelle then said: "It's so ironic because now I talk for a living you couldn't write it could you? That's actually why my mum sent me to like dance and drama of a weekend because I was just behind her leg. I had a stammer."I was really quite young and it probably went when I was in year one of school, reception year one. But yeah, now you can't shut me up."

She added: Intrigued as to how drama and dance clubs helped the presenter while growing up, Brenda Edwards asked: " So how did dance and drama help?" Rochelle then replied saying: "I think my mum got advised to do that by the GP at the time, I saw like a speech therapist for quite a while but I think it was a confidence thing really, to just really find my own feet. I don't notice it as much now, of course I talk for a living as I said but if I'm nervous I will fall over myself a little bit and I'll remember to slow down."

Rochelle first became a household name when she became part of a girl band called The Saturdays in 2007. And it was during the course of her time as a pop star that she met and married JLS singer Marvin. The pair tied the knot in 2012 and later renewed their vows last year, on the day of their ten year wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram, Rochelle shared a sweet black and white snap of the couple and captioned it by saying: "Opps we did it again... Ten down forever to go (sic)," alongside a white heart emoji.

And Rochelle's fans wasted no time in commenting on the post, with one person writing: "Congratulations beautiful people." Another posted: "So so happy for you both," while a third added: "Can’t wait to see the pictures." Former TOWIE star Billie Faiers wrote: "Huge congratulations to you both." This comes after the former singer posted three pictures from their original wedding on Instagram and paired it with a gushing caption. She penned: "10 years ago today I got to marry my soul mate…in these pictures I had no idea what would be in store but it’s been nothing but pure magic.. @marvinhumes ready to do it all again?! #tendownforevertogo."

The couple live in a £1.7 million home in Essex with their three kids and Marvin previously revealed the secret to his happy marriage. Speaking to The Mirror, the singer and presenter explained how he and Rochelle balance their careers alongside their family life. He explained: "I think for us we appreciate our luck and I’m just lucky that I’m with someone I love and I’m best friends with.

"Just because we’re in the same industry, that doesn’t mean anything. For us, we met and we could have been in other jobs and we would have still be together. I don’t know what the secret is to be honest. We just do normal things and go on date nights and stuff." He added: "We’ve got three amazing kids. We’re mum and dad, husband and wife, and we’re friends and it’s like… I dunno, we just sort of make it work - touch wood.”
