Tommy Fury boasts he was "playing games" during huge win over Jake Paul

Tommy Fury has warned KSI that he was "playing games" during his split decision win over Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, but insists he will stop the Brit.

The Love Island star is an undefeated professional boxer, but was headlining his first pay-per-view event and moving up to eight rounds for the first time against Paul back in February. He was dropped in the eighth round but had coasted to that point, and relatively comfortably won on two judges' cards.

However, KSI is viewed as a considerably lesser challenge, coming in much smaller and with lesser boxing ability than Paul. And he has vowed to land a stunning finish, which he feels will put an end to the trend of social media influencers heading into the boxing ring.

"I’m telling you now, with Jake Paul I was playing games," Fury told his rival during their face-to-face for DAZN. "Feinting, jabbing up and down. See what I’m going to do with you? I’m going straight to you, I’m going to hit you hard, hard and harder and I ain’t going to stop until you’re on the ground.

"I’ve been sparring people for six months already in preparation for this guy. Every amateur in the country fights like you, jumping up and down, let’s see. Do that against a professional boxer and we’ll see. You know the funniest thing? I feel like I’m in an head wave.

"I’ve already done this before with a certain man across the pond. He said ‘I’m going to do this, I’m going to knock you out'. You’re different? You wouldn’t beat Jake Paul. Why are you different, what have you done and who have you fought?”

And Fury feels that the size difference between he and KSI will prove the difference, with the YouTube star regularly mocking him for having to cut a considerable amount of weight. “From what I can see across from me you ain’t knocking nothing out," Fury joked during the face-off.

"He’s a lot smaller man than I thought he was, a lot smaller. I’m fast, I’m powerful. You do leg day? Please, two matchsticks you’ve got carrying you up."
