John Fury falsely claimed Anderson Silva was stopped by Jake Paul during a recent video, in which he threatened the YouTuber would leave his next fight "on a stretcher".

The American will face Fury's son Tommy on February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after the pair previously agreed to two fight deals that were subsequently cancelled. And 'Big John' has taken to social media to get involved in their trash talking, mocking Paul for his last win over Anderson Silva.

The Fury father incorrectly called Silva 'Da Silva', and spread the debunked conspiracy theory that Paul missed the Brazilian before putting him down in the eighth round. But perhaps strangest of all, Fury claimed that Silva had been "counted out", despite the fact the fight ended by decision.

In fact, Silva got up relatively quickly and was nowhere close to missing the 10 count. He continued the round, and by the time the fight made it to the scorecards, there were concerns that he had actually won the bout altogether although Paul ended up winning on all four scorecards.

"You've no chance at all," Fury said in his angry video. "I don't give you any chance whatsoever, not even a remote chance, not even a puncher's chance. Your last fight with Silva, that fake thing; you missed him and he fell on the ground! I watched it time and time again on a video, you missed him and he fell down and got counted out. You're in a real fight this time, mucker, with my son who can bang with both hands. So advice to you, keep 'em up!"

Late in the fight between Paul and Silva, the YouTuber landed a big one-two combination that put the UFC legend down to score a 10-8 round. Footage of one angle that appeared to show the punch missing circulated on social media, but other angles show Paul landing clearly and Silva coming off balance.

Who do you think will win between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!

Earlier in the video he had said that Tommy would be sending Paul out of the ring on a stretcher, declaring that his son would certainly make the walk this time after two previous pull-outs. In case of emergency, promoters have lined up former UFC star Mike Perry as a replacement.

"A quick video to Jake Paul and co," he said. "Jake, you think Tommy's not going to show up. You're going to be very disappointed and mistaken because we're one million per cent going to be there. We can't wait to get this fight on with you. There's no way in this entire world that this fight ain't going to happen, pal.

"So if you're dreaming in your own little boy's brain that we're not going to show up and Tommy's not going to fight you, you're going to be very wrong. Be prepared to get taken out of that ring on a stretcher, my friend, because that's what's happening to you."
