The world of rap is a wealthy one, with the top ten rappers in the world ranging from net worths of $170 million up to $2.5 billion.
Topping the leaderboard is Jay-Z, who rakes it in thanks to his impressive music as well as his business portfolio.
The husband to Beyoncé has an impressive fortune, but he's not the only rapper who has raked it in and many have turned to fashion and clothing labels as well as brand collaborations to build up their wealth.

Coming in at the tenth spot, Lil Wayne's net worth is $170 million, which is $17 million up since last year.
He’s the first male to surpass Elvis Presley with the most Billboard Hot 100 songs, with 109 so far. He’s earned his spot as one of the bestselling artists of all time. Whilst he's the bottom of the list, he's by no means poor with his whopping net worth still hitting $170 million.
9. Master P
The rapper hitting the ninth spot is Percy Miller, who's record label No Limit Records has made him wealthy with a net worth of $210 million.
One of his biggest signings included Snoop Dogg for a three-album deal in the late ’90s and he has since continued to diversify his income as he has broken into television, movies, and professional wrestling. He also boasts a varied business portfolio including travel, real estate, stocks, toys, sports, cars, and other industries.
8. Pharrell
The Happy singer is worth a cool $250 million, and thanks much of his wealth and fame to his role as the lead vocalist of N*E*R*D.
Behind the scenes, Pharrell thrives as a producer and has earned Grammys and Academy Awards for his work. He's also featured on the US version of 'The Voice' as well as launching fashion and clothing collaborations including trainers, jewellery and sunglasses.

Eminem, also known as Marshall Mathers, boasts a net worth of $260 million.
He has earned 15 Grammy Awards and is the first rapper to receive the Academy Award for Best Original Song from his movie 8 Mile. Whilst he's been quiet on the music scene lately, that hasn't stopped him for earning a hefty $10 million last year and growing his net worth.
6. Drake
Drake is one of the most well known rappers, and that translates into a tidy net worth sum of $280 million.
He has also won four Grammy Awards, including the Grammy for the Best Rap Album for Take Care at the Grammy Awards in 2012. He has also outsold several rap legends, such as Jay-Z, Eminem and Tupac. Berner comes in at fifth with a net worth of $420 million.
The rapper was born Gilbert Anthony Milam, Jr. and is a business mogul, as well as a billboard charting rapper, and is also a leading cannabis trailblazer. As a rapper, the star has 46 album, many of which have ranked in Billboard‘s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart

His label Roc-A-Fella Records, his clothing line Rocawear and his alcoholic brands (Armand de Brignac champagne and D’USSÉ cognac) are all huge contributors for his income but its music that's the real winner for Jay-Z.
He’s the first rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He holds the record for the most #1 albums on the Billboard 200, which is currently 14 albums.
