Kevin Spacey has been rushed to hospital.

The House of Cards actor reportedly feared he was having a "heart attack" at a film festival. It came after he went "numb in one arm".

The actor, 64, is said to have undergone an MRI scan after the worrying health scare, which took place at the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival in Uzbekistan.

He reportedly became unwell whilst touring the Afrasiyab Museum in Samarkand. He's said to have felt his "entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds" and was reportedly taken to the Innova Diagnostic Clinic to undergo a series of tests. It's been reported that although it was feared that he could have suffered a heart attack doctors later gave him the all-clear.

According to the Sun, a source said: "Mr Spacey was taken to a medical centre over health concerns. He was treated professionally by doctors and staff and found to have no problem with his heart."

The actor, who was recently cleared of sexually assaulting four men, reportedly appeared on stage at the festival later that evening and he's said to have told the crowd that his health was "normal". He reportedly said: "It made me really take a moment and think about how fragile life is - for all of us."

Kevin - whose acting credits include The Usual Suspects (1995) and American Beauty (1999) - is said to have answered questions from attendees at the festival in a 'masterclass' on Monday. He's understood to have subsequently appeared during the closing ceremony of the festival on Tuesday.

A video shared on Instagram showed Kevin giving a speech. He congratulated those involved with the festival and said that he had "spent a few days" getting to explore the "extraordinary city" of Tashkent during his visit to the country.

He went on to recall an "unexpected" situation that occurred whilst he was touring a museum. Kevin said that whilst looking at murals at the museum, he felt his arm go numb for a moment. He told the crowd during the closing ceremony: "I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds."

According to its website, the Tashkent International Film Festival is held "to preserve and develop the age-old traditions of national cinematography," as well as to "develop cultural and educational activities" in the country.
