Gemma Collins discussed body confidence as she detailed what it was like stripping down to film The Real Full Monty.

The Diva Forever star, 42, has always been about body positivity and uses her social media to share her workout routines and inspirational messages. She even previously expressed how she has been a victim of online hate – and at times has been turned away from jobs because of her size.

The GC recently worked on The Real Full Monty with the likes of Paul Burrell and Pete Wicks. The so-called 'stripping spectacular' will also feature several more recognisable faces from the entertainment industry. Gemma said stripping off wasn't a big deal to her as she "couldn't wait to whip it all out."

When asked by OK! whether the show gave her a new-found sense of confidence, she added: "To be honest, I’m really confident anyway. I love my body, it’s other people that don’t. I don’t give a stuff about them. I don’t live my life for other people – I’m beautiful."

TV presenter Julia Bradbury and actress Sherrie Hewson are also amongst the line-up of brave celebs taking part in The Real Full Monty. Dancing on Ice pro skater Vanessa Bauer, Corrie and Death in Paradise’s Victoria Ekanoye and Ashley Cain will be joining them.

The final famous faces making up the line-up are ex-England rugby international and TV personality Ben Cohen, Nick Collier who is better known as Ella Vaday from RuPaul's Drag Race and Gemma's TOWIE co-star Pete Wicks.

Gemma recently publicly addressed the hateful comments she'd received online but said she is proud of her achievements and won't let trolls dampen her mood. She wrote: "YOU are a split second away from always changing the direction of your life. I hope this video inspires you. A girl from Romford who was invited to meet the KING and QUEEN make all your dreams come true daily we have one life !!! Enjoy it and go for it."

Gemma added: "AND to all the people along the way who told me NO …..spoke rubbish about me…..said unkind things…brands who said I was too fat…talent agencies who said you need to lose weight we don’t want you on our books or websites people who gossip about me or run me down or abuse me on socials …. THANK YOU."

"Because I always followed my own path and all the NOs made me stronger …. I don’t see the KING or QUEEN inviting you ….My point is the worst anyone is going to say is NO yes it can knock your self-esteem or confidence for a split second but remember who you are inside and your dream !!! And it shall always overcome," she continued.
