Citadel on Prime Video - watch secret trailer through hidden QR code
Sci-fi fans are in for a treat as Amazon Prime Video has released a set of first-look images for the highly-anticipated action-spy thriller Citadel.
Hidden within one of the photos is a QR code, which leads eagle-eyed viewers down a rabbit hole that ends in a teaser trailer for the high-octane drama.
The picture shows Richard Madden’s character Mason Kane scrutinising a screen containing information about Nadia Sinh (played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas) as well as a QR code.
To ‘connect to the mainframe’ of the Citadel network, viewers have to scan the code which takes them to Instagram.
From there, the account ‘authenticates your credentials’ before prompting users to enter a password, which can be found on the original image.

The account will send across the teaser video - granting you Tier 1 access - along with the message ‘EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS A LIE’.
While the brief teaser doesn’t give away any major spoilers about the show, it does reveal that the official trailer will be unveiled on March 1, meaning we will learn more about the thriller soon.
The gripping teaser kicks off with Stanley Tucci’s character, ex-agent Bernard Orlick, announcing: “Everything you know is a lie. What you were was a myth. What you were was Citadel.”
The dramatic lines are read while tense action sequences from the series play in the background, including scenes of explosions and intense fighting.
What do we know about Citadel so far
Viewers will be taken into the riveting world of Agents Kane and Sinh who are trying to piece their memories together after they’ve been wiped following the crumbling of Citadel.
The independent global spy agency, which upholds the safety and security of all people, was destroyed by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows.
The two agents have remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts.
This is until Mason is tracked down by former Citadel colleague Bernard, who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order.
Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
