National Coffee Day deals from Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme, Wendy's and more
Today is National Coffee Day and a host of top brands are offering freebies or bargain buys on your favourite cup of joe.
Coffee shops, big and small, are celebrating the event with free java, including Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Dutch Bros, and Casey's. Krispy Kreme customers grab a free medium hot or iced coffee on Friday, and won't need to purchase any item. With the purchase of any dozen, you can purchase an additional $2 Original Glazed dozen. And for Dunkin Donuts customers, members can get a free order of Dunkin' hash browns with any breakfast sandwich purchase, as well as a medium hot or iced Signature Latte for $3 when they activate the offers in their accounts. However, it excludes lattes, cappuccinos and cold brew.
Whether it is an ice cold latte, or a warming americano to go with your doughnut, customers can pick and choose where they collect their caffeine fix. And for many who have returned back to the office, coffee consumption has "bounced back" from the Covid pandemic, with sixty-seven percent of Americans drinking the stuff each day, according to National Coffee Association (NCA). It is more than any other beverage, including water, a new report has revealed. In-office coffee has “rebounded to pre-pandemic levels” with 36% of Americans buying a cup and bringing it into work. People who consume coffee at home remain strong with pre-pandemic levels at 82%

- Circle K is now giving away one free cup of coffee of any size, but only through its app, until October 2. The offer is valid at more than 7,000 US locations.
- Dunkin’ (Dunkin' Donuts) is offering a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase on Friday - today - to members of its loyalty program, Dunkin’ Rewards.
- Krispy Kreme is offering free coffee. Any customer can get a medium hot or iced coffee, no purchase necessary
- Peet’s Coffee is trying to challenge its rivals and “disrupt the coffee industry” with what it calls its “Disloyalty Program.” If you are a member of a rival coffee chain's rewards scheme, such as Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts, you can go to Peets and use any points earned elsewhere for a free coffee!
- Sheetz: Any purchase made through the app until October 1 will give customers a free Nitro or cold brew coffee of any size.
- Tim Hortons: With a £3 or more purchase, members of its rewards program can get a free medium hot or iced coffee.
- Wendy’s: You can get a 99-cent small hot or iced coffee on its app.
- Shipley Do-Nuts: The chain with more than 340 locations nationwide is giving away any medium hot or iced coffee when you make a purchase
