Manchester United made it two wins from two on Tuesday by knocking Crystal Palace out of the Carabao Cup.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial secured a 3-0 victory for Erik ten Hag's side at Old Trafford. United have now won back-to-back games for the first time this season after winning 1-0 at Burnley in their last Premier League outing.

Yet the Red Devils still have a long way to go if they want to challenge for honours. United have already lost four games this season, with Tottenham, Arsenal, Brighton and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich all getting the better of them in recent weeks.

With all that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Old Trafford...

Keane hits out at Sancho

Roy Keane insists he would be "ashamed" if his performances in training were criticised following Jadon Sancho's axe. The 23-year-old winger has been banned from using all first-team facilities at United's Carrington training ground after falling out with
Ten Hag.

Keane discussed Sancho's situation on The Overlap. He said: "I would be ashamed if a manager said I wasn't working hard.

"You would hope the dressing room would sort that out. We have all worked with players who drag their heels in training, or might be thinking of a move. A good strong team wouldn't tolerate that, they wouldn't let a player slack off."

United are interested in signing Serge Gnabry. Ten Hag wants to sign a winger in January, with Sancho and Antony unavailable for selection. Antony is taking a leave of absence after allegations of domestic abuse were made against him - allegations he denies.

Gnabry, who started his career at United's Premier League rivals Arsenal, is one of the most exciting wingers in Europe. The Germany international, 28, has scored 82 goals in 224 games for Bayern Munich and has three years remaining on his contract.

Amrabat's message to team-mates

Sofyan Amrabat has urged his new colleagues to do their talking "on the pitch" after making his home debut against Palace on Tuesday. The Morocco international, 27, joined United on loan from Fiorentina just before the summer transfer window shut.

Amrabat said: "I have a lot of confidence because I see that we have so much quality. I think we were a bit unlucky with the injuries we had. For every team it’s difficult if you have a lot of injuries. I see a lot of quality (among the squad).

"We have a fantastic coach, fantastic fans, so I believe we can do something big. But in the end, you have to show it on the pitch, not with talking, not with speaking. You have to work for it and hopefully we can reach something very nice together."
