Glum Hugh Jackman spotted without wedding ring amid 'difficult' split from wife
Hugh Jackman was spotted without his wedding ring over the weekend following the news that he's split from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness after almost three decades together.
The actor, 54, was seen riding a bike in New York City recently, following the former couple's joint statement announcing their separation. Hugh had gone out with his estranged wife Deborra-Lee, 67, whom he married in 1996.
He opted to wear a grey t-shirt, black trousers and dark shoes for the bike ride on Saturday, with him seen sporting a helmet too. Hugh however didn't appear to have been wearing his wedding ring whilst out exploring the city. It's however unknown how much he wore the ring previously.

He's said to have stopped to chat to them after being spotted.
While out in the city over the weekend, Hugh was asked by a photographer about the kind of "individual growth" he would be pursuing. Footage of the exchange was obtained by TMZ and was then shared by the outlet on Saturday.

Addressing the question, Hugh was heard saying: "It doesn't feel quite right talking about it on the street but I appreciate your thoughts, man." As he walked past the photographer, he further commented: "It's a difficult time ..."
He didn't appear to have been wearing his wedding ring whilst out in the city (Daniel W McKnight / MEGA)He was also spotted recently alongside his pal Ryan Reynolds, 46, whom he's set to appear with in the upcoming film Deadpool 3. They were seen out in New York City, with Hugh once again not appearing to have worn his ring.
Hugh and his estranged wife - who have two children together - issued a joint statement last week. It revealed that the pair had decided to separate and will pursue "individual growth" after more than two decades together.
The statement read: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."

Although described as "shock" news, a source told PageSix that it had been a "long time coming". They said: "It happened a while ago. Friends and family knew about it." The source suggested the pair had morphed into "roommates."

The pair were seen in the crowd during a match in the contest in July, months prior to the recent news.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee are said to have met in around 1995. They got married the following year and their family includes their two children together, with the two actors parents to Oscar Jackman, 23, and Ava Jackman, 18.
