Screaming plane passenger tells others to film meltdown as she's 'Insta famous'

A video of a foul-mouthed rant by a passenger on an aeroplane who swears at her fellow travellers has gone viral after she was caught on camera screaming “I’m Instagram famous”.

Viewers of the clip, which has amassed millions of hits online, blasted the woman as a “clown” and “entitled” after she threw a tantrum and flounced out of the American Airlines flight. The glamorous passenger has gone viral after the clip was uploaded to X, formally known as Twitter. The woman, wearing a skin-tight grey unitard, takes her luggage from the overhead locker at the start of the 20 second video clip, while shouting at a fellow passenger.

“Call me a b***h again,” she can be heard shouting to someone off screen, as the passenger recording the scene lets out a snort of laughter. “Call me a b****h again, I did nothing wrong!” she shouts as retrieves her suitcase and makes to leave the plane. Someone can be heard telling her to shut up, to which she responds: “No you shut the f*** up! You shut the f*** up, and your b***h.”

As the brunette turns on her heel and strides off down the aisle, she notices that she is being filmed on another passenger’s phone. Visibly furious, she shouted at the cameraperson documenting her tantrum, saying: “Film me - I'm Instagram famous, you f*****g bum.” Her outburst draws instant laughter and derision from her fellow passengers and she can be heard cursing as she stomps away down the aisle out of shot.

The clip was uploaded to Twitter with the caption: “Imagine being this entitled.” Other users were quick to weigh in, laughing at her use of the word “bum” in the context while many questioned who the “Instagram famous” woman was. “What the hell is Instagram famous?” one user asked, “is that like being a millionaire in monopoly?” Others questioned her travel choices: “Why isn't Her Highness, the Instagram famous personality, flying first class?” another commenter asked. The identity of the so-called "Instagram famous" personality remains a mystery.
