Strictly viewers 'work out' who will leave first after performance teaser
Strictly Come Dancing fans think they know who will leave the 2023 series first, before it has even launched.
After getting a glimpse of each of the 15 celebrities and their dancing abilities, fans were worried for one star in particular. The stars on the line-up this year include Zara McDermott, Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon, Layton Williams, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Eddie Kadi and Angela Scanlon.
Also competing are Adam Thomas, Nikita Kanda, Ellie Leach, Jody Cundy CBE, Bobby Brazier, Nigel Harman, Annabel Croft and Les Dennis. Each celebrity contestant was introduced during the pairing episode, and the judges got to see what their performances might look like as they did a little dance.
Viewers tuning in shared their thoughts on some of the pairings, before getting to see the stars perform for the first time. While they won't perform their routines until next weekend, each celebrity had a little dance in front of the judges to end the show - and it may have given away who was and wasn't going to do well.
Viewers certainly thought so, while others seemed to have decided who would leave before they'd even seen any performances. Corrie star and TV favourite Les was tipped to go first by several viewers, while others were quick to back the star. Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "I think it’s safe to say Les Denis will be the first to leave.."
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourAnother said: "Les Dennis is surely going to be 1st out unless someone else really messes up," as a third added: "Aw, I bloody LOVE Nancy, but looks she's on for an early exit with Les Dennis. Bah." Others had faith in Les doing well on the show, with one writing: "I couldn't love Les Dennis more," as another said: "Fully backing @LesDennis on Strictly," while a third said: "I’m hooked."

The pro dancers taking to the stage this year will be Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vita Coppola. Some of them will be performing solo routines and group performances only, while the rest are paired with a celebrity.
Show favourite Amy Dowden will not be on the series this year, after sharing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Amy had hoped to feature on the show but after treatment, she learned she had another type of cancer after more tests. Amy recently updated fans on how her treatment was going, and on having to miss the series - something viewers were gutted by. The show favourite recently reunited with her fellow pros, for a special pre-recorded group dance with her featuring in the photoshoot.
Strictly Come Dancing kicks off next Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
