Make up brand Lottie London has resurrected its partnership with cult teen television series, The Vampire Diaries, and has launched a newly revamped makeup collection influenced by the show, called Love Sucks - and with spooky season fast approaching, fans can't get enough of it.

The collection is described as embodying the "transformative nature of love to create daring and fierce looks" and is inspired by the show's protagonist, Elena Gilbert's, infuriating yet iconic love triangle with the Salvatore brothers (who happen to be vampires, naturally).

Speaking about Lottie London X The Vampire Diaries Love Sucks, which will inject a bit of glamour into your Halloween get up with items such as lip tints, eyeshadows, highlighters, lipsticks and eyeliners, Nora Zukauskaite, Global Marketing Director at Lottie London, said: “Following the huge success of our first collection last year, we are so excited to be back again this year partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products on our latest Lottie London collection inspired by The Vampire Diaries.

"We are thrilled to launch the revamped collection which celebrates the nostalgic teen drama. We know our #LottieSquad will be inspired to transform themselves and discover the supernatural collection, getting creative with their looks this Halloween and beyond.”

Now, with every teen supernatural film or series it seems there are always two sides, a team you have to back - team X or team X - and The Vampire Diaries is no different. With this in mind, Lottie London has created two gorgeous eyeshadow palettes, in the shape of a coffin, containing ten highly pigmented shades that'll determine whether you're Team Damon - with bolder and more intense colours - or Team Stefan, a softer, warmer look.

The collection also includes a new 'Blood Drip' lip tints that give a "subtle shine while moisturising the lips" and comes in a tube that looks like a blood sample (very Halloween-y), and a colour changing lip and cheek stick and goes from black to a lush shade of pink upon application as well as a star stamp liner (for added intensity to your regular liner) - it sounds to die for, literally.

Beauty fanatics who are fans of the series are already obsessed and can't wait to take a bite out of this new collection, which launched on September 12, with many taking to social media to declare their need for the pieces - some of which sold out shortly after released - don't worry, though, they're available to order online on Lottie London or on ASOS.

One wrote: "OMG I NEED THISSSS", while another said: "YES YES AND YES!!!!!"

A third and fourth added: "Love it! I’m so thankful I found it" and "JUST USED MY COLLECTION IT IS SO HOT".

The Vampire Diaries' collection with Lottie London isn't the only spooky you get creepy with this Halloween either - Revolution does a series of themed eyeshadow palettes that are positively iconic - Beetlejuice (… Beetlejuice… Beetlejuice) fans can get their hands on this purple, gold and silver set on sale for £5.60, while Boots is doing a Luna Lovegood themed palette that encourages us to "always be yourself" (£12.50). However if ghouls and ghosts aren't really your cup of tea, Revolution also does a Disney Pixar Monsters University collection for £21.99.
