Kelce accused of 'cheating for a month' by ex-girlfriend and dating show winner
Travis Kelce was accused of cheating in 2017 by ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry, whom he met on his own dating show 'Catching Kelce', after his relationship with fashion influencer and journalist Kayla Nicole was confirmed.
The tight end was the subject of a show in which 50 women from all 50 US States would compete for the chance to date him in the hit 2016 E! Network show. In the end, it was Kentucky's Maya that won Kelce's heart but their relationship didn't last long, with the Kansas City Chiefs star accused of cheating shortly after.
After it was confirmed by TMZ that Kelce had started dating Kayla, Maya went public on her ex-boyfriend's new romance. In deleted tweets on X, formerly Twitter, and captured by The Shade Room, slammed Kelce after seeing that he and Kayla had already been dating for six months, accusing the American football star of overlapping relationships.
"When you and your ex broke up five months ago but you find out via social media that he’s supposedly been in another relationship for 6…” Benberry allegedly wrote. Kelce and Kayla went on to date on and off for five years and reports claimed that one of their breakups was over infidelity on the Chiefs star's side, which he later denied.
They finally called it quits in May 2022 and rumours swirled that it was financially driven, with two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce keen to go 50/50 with the fashion influencer and journalist. However, that was denied by both, who have since removed each other from their socials.

Fast forward to 2023, and Kelce's dating life is back in the spotlight after reports of a romance brewing with singer Taylor Swift circulated. Kelce's admiration of Swift isn't a secret, with the 33-year-old attending one of Swift's shows in Kansas City, where he admitted to hoping to hand her his number.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Travis Kelce explained on his podcast New Heights, which he hosts alongside brother Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis Kelce added: "So she doesn’t meet anybody and she doesn't - or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal." It seems as though the NFL player has quickly gotten over his grudge, however.
The latest dating development came after Kelce was given advice by brother Jason Kelce's wife, Kylie. Jason, a Philadelphia Eagles star, met his wife Kylie on the popular dating app Tinder, and their love story had Travis contemplating whether to re-join. The Messenger claims that Kelce and Swift are 'quietly hanging out' having crossed paths in New York City a few weeks ago.
