This Morning chaos as Miriam Margolyes repeatedly swears leaving Holly red-faced
This Morning viewers were entertained once more on Wednesday, as regular guest Miriam Margolyes was up to her usual tricks on the show.
Host Holly Willoughby was left red-faced as she had to repeatedly apologise, after show favourite Miriam swore twice during a phone-in with viewers. Initially mouthing an expletive, she later dropped the s-bomb when giving guidance to a fan - and Holly was clearly amused.
She did the usual apologies for viewers in case any offence was caused, while co-star Josie Gibson was left in hysterics as chaos hit the show. It all kicked off after several appearances from the telly and film star over the years, in which she has often caused trouble.
This isn't the first time she has said something that has left the hosts in stitches, and it isn't the first time she has sworn on the show - so it's safe to assume the show knows what they are doing when they welcome her on! As expected, Miriam wasted no time in dropping her first expletive - although she hit back at claims she had sworn.

She said he would get home from work and sit on his phone, not bothering with her or the kids.

The show agony aunt told the caller she needed to tell her partner how she was feeling, before advising that she stripped naked and "showed him what she's got". She then told her to take the phone away from him, and tell him to put the "f***ing phone away". She mouthed it, but it was immediately spotted by Holly as it was slightly audible.
Holly immediately apologised to viewers and grimaced, saying: "Sorry!" But Miriam hit back, defending the fact she mouthed it and didn't swear. Holly then made the point that some people might have been able to work out what she had said, and so she was apologising for that reason.
But she was forced to say sorry again just minutes later, as this time Miriam clearly swore as she offered advice to another caller. A guest told Miriam over the phone that she was having trouble with nightmare neighbours, and Miriam shared her own experiences. She suggested they "throw the s**t over the wall" in reference to stuff from the neighbour's garden that was making its way into the caller's own garden.
As soon as she said it, Holly and Josie erupted into laughter as Holly said: "Sorry... again." This time Miriam realised her error and wasn't able to defend it. Viewers certainly saw the funny side, having expected the star to say something awkward given her history with the show.
