Arsenal fans are calling for those running the club to spend whatever it takes to land the signature of Norwegian wonderkid Antonio Nusa.

The claims came after Nusa put on a masterful display for his country during their Euro 2024 qualifier against Georgia. The 18-year-old assisted two Premier League titans as he set up goals for both Manchester City talisman Erling Haaland and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard during the 2-1 victory.

The clash marked just his second appearance for Norway at senior level and yet he now already boasts a tally that reads one goal and three assists. Nusa's play in the build-up for Odegaard's strike was something to behold, with the teenager weaving in and out of Georgian defenders before cutting the ball back into an area that allowed the Gunners captain to rifle his effort home.

Soon after his assist had gone viral on social media, adoring Arsenal fans noticed the link-up between Nusa and their club captain. One wrote: "Antonio Nusa is a generational player. Get the money out Arsenal." Another added: "Antonio Nusa is necessary for Arsenal to sign."

One man who both knows how good Nusa is and the attention that comes with being a Norwegian wonderkid is Odegaard, who has already given his seal of approval on the Arsenal and Chelsea target. The Gunners skipper spoke glowingly of the Club Brugge ace after he made his first run out for Norway during the 6-0 win over Jordan.

“Fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player," Odegaard told TV2. "You see it, everything he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes it to such an extent. Incredibly cool!

"He must continue as he has done. Work hard, be humble. He’s a nice boy. Very calm and nice type. It’s going to be just fine. He just has to enjoy the football and continue to deliver as he does. Then it will be good."

Born in April 2005, Nusa has played for Belgian outfit Club Brugge since 2021 and bagged one goal as well as one assist in his first four games this term.

In September of last year, Nusa made history when he became the youngest player to score on his Champions League debut during Brugge's 4-0 away win over FC Porto. If Arsenal are to try and secure Nusa's services, it is likely to come at quite a cost given he is contracted to the Belgian giants until 2027.
