Sunday Brunch welcomed reality telly regular, Jake Quickenden to the Channel 4 show this weekend and the cheeky TV presenter wasted no time in joking around with hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, telling the former he had no social media followers because he doesn't take his top off enough.

The Sunday Brunch duo asked Jake about his social media preferences and which app he uses the most on the episode airing Sunday, September 10. X Factor star Jake then revealed he used to take his top off on Instagram quite a bit, whereas now he's posting about 'family stuff' including sweet images of wife, Sophie Church and their son, Leo, as well as Sophie's older son, Freddie – who Jake is a proud stepdad to.

The topless confession had Tim in stitches saying "that is brilliant," before adding "I'm still on MySpace." Then Simon asked his co-host: "Do you have your top on [on MySPace]?" And Tim was heard saying "nahh," before Jake quipped: "And that's why you have no followers."

The trio laughed and Jake insisted he was only joking and Tim bounced back with "I used to like Jake."

Jake appeared on the show to talk about his new role in the stage show version of The Full Monty, which goes on a national theatre tour from this September. The 35-year-old also spoke about his reality TV competition appearances, revealing that Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins was extremely hard to do, viewers may remember Jake was rushed to hospital with an injury during his stint in 2020 and he eventually had to pull out of the gruelling challenge show.

He said: "SAS was the hardest! CS gassed us and at one point I was in the room and I was thinking, 'has this been signed off by health and safety?' I couldn't see a thing! I had to rescue this poor guy and in the end I just fell out the door with him and I remember trying to look at Ant Middleton who was stood in front of me and I was just thinking, 'this can't be allowed.'"

Jake revealed mid-morning that he was having a great time on the show, posting to his Instagram stories 'lovely show with lovely panel,' as he reposted the image of him the show's official Instagram had shared earlier.
