The Queen's former dresser Angela Kelly accused of starting a negative campaign against Meghan Markle

The Queen's former dresser and confidante, Angela Kelly, is being targeted online with claims of kickstarting a hate campaign within the Royal Family against Meghan Markle as she insists that she "does not hate Meghan."

Angela was a loyal employee and friend of the Queen serving the monarch for over 25 years. The famous fashion designer was promised that she would have life-long accommodations by the late monarch following her death but was asked to move out of her cottage on the Windsor estate within months of her death in September of last year.

Since Angela has stopped working for the Royal Family, the 65-year-old fashion designer has been facing accusations of sparking a hate campaign against Meghan. One of Angela's followers on Instagram wrote: "Aren't you the...who kickstarted the started whole hate campaign against Meghan…leaking things, making things up… I hope u get ur karma."

Angela fought back against the negative claims, writing: "I don't hate Meghan. You have got this all wrong. So please stop this bullying. Stop discrediting me. Megan and I got on very well. Get your facts right and leave me alone."

The online troll went on to claim that Angela was hated in the Royal Family and was kicked out of her home by King Charles. But Angela was not alone in this, as King Charles did a "royal clear out" after the Queen's death. Four days into mourning, 100 staff members at the Clarence House were given warning letters revealing that they might lose their jobs. The insensitive timing of the news reportedly left people “absolutely livid” and others “visibly shaken."

Angela, however, was very close friends with Queen Elizabeth II and even took to social media on the one-year anniversary of the monarch's death to share a heartfelt tribute to her. She wrote: "I will never forget you. I will always love you. I miss you, my friend."
