Jersey Shore star Vinny G gives inside look into jaw dropping UFO prank
The jaw-dropping and side-splitting alien prank on the recent episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation on MTV was aided by alcohol.
Pauly D and Vinny G fooled Deena Cortese, 36, Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola, 36, and Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, 35, into genuinely believing an alien apocalypse had started.
Pauly worked with show producers and a drone company to create a scene of a UFO outside the house where the reality stars stayed in Pennsylvania. The scene was so real that Sammi called her mother to report an ET invasion, and bawling Deena wanted to drive home to be with her children. Even Snooki panicked at the threat of intergalactic annihilation.
Vinny G has told The Mirror, on camera, that the prank was effective because of the volume of booze consumed by the girls during the day and night.
Vinny worked with producers to execute the prank outside of the house where the stars stayed in Pennsylvania (MTV)Vinny said: “That UFO drone show, I don't know how many thousands of dollars that cost, but that was over the top. The girls were annihilated and wasted. It was perfect. Aliens, and we're in Pennsylvania where the aliens are going to come. So all those things combined made it the most epic prank.”

Pauly enlisted Vinny to help distract the other housemates during late filming and partying. It lead to fans watching the stressed out females panic about their lives and kids’ welfare during the surreal moment in the MTV show.
Vinnny admitted: "Aliens are very topical right now, and we were doing the show and our pranks have become epic because the production company is now involved in the pranks.
“So like the season before this one, there was a dead body prank that the production started giving this dead body C P R and jumping in the pool to resuscitate him.
"It was a prank, and we were all like, what the f*** is going on? We were in shock, and I'm like, oh, production's throwing pranks now. So now that you have production on your side, the opportunities are endless.”
Vinny spoke on camera about the epic TV moment as he talked retuning the role of celebrity guest host on The Chippendales show at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

With the group drinking and playing games at their rented pad, Vinny was seen investigating flashing blue lights flashed outside.“Is that, like, a plane?,” baffled Deena asked, before they started recording the scenes.
When an alarm rang out, producers told the participants to stay indoors. That intense moment saw panicked Deena tearfully say: “I have to get home to my kids. 'I don't wanna be here.”
Sammi and Snooki became alarmed adding: “Deena, we're leaving,” Cameras caught Sammi call her mother to report aliens around the house.
Deena was considering driving, but JWoww warned her not to drive into the aliens. “I'm not giving you keys. You've been drinking,” JWoww said.
Pauly after the UFO prank revealed that the joke got a little out of hand but he had a great time executing it with Vinny (Getty Images for MTV)Deena at 12:28am decided that she was going to make the 200-mile walk home back to New Jersey. 'This prank is almost a little too good. It's starting to get out of hand,' Pauly said in a confessional. 'But I'm gonna keep this going because I'm having a great time right now.'

Sammi told her mother that she didn't sign up for this. And rattled Snooki added: “'I'll die with the aliens. I want to be with my f***ing family. I don't want to die with you f***ing wh**es,”
To add to the joke Pauly and Vinny appeared the next morning in green alien costumes, saying, “Alien invasion!'. 'Pauly? F*** you guys,' Snooki told them. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs on MTV.
