Getting your nails done is a big part of a bride's big day. Time is taken to decide the perfect colour, shape, and pattern. Often brides will share their new glossy manicures either a classic French tip or something with a pop of colour to throw in some personality.

But one wedding planner has shared a mistake brides make which leads them to walk down the aisle with scruffy nails. Courtney Bradley is a wedding consultant whose company The Engagement Studio helps create the perfect fairytale day for her clients. In a video that has been viewed 30,000 times, Courtney posted to TikTok she shared a desperate plea with thousands of her followers, and says it's something she always reminds the brides she works with.

"If you're planning a shower or party, or your wedding reception, or anything, please listen, because this will save you so much stress," Courtney explained.

Her stellar recommendation is that as you buy all of your decor, you take the price tag off everything as you go. She said: "Take everything out of the package, do not wait until the week before." She tells her followers and future brides-to-be and those planning their wedding that this is a great way to keep things organised as you go and make sure everything is there and nothing is missing.

Courtney says once you have you're nails done, and perfectly designed, the last thing you want to do is peel sticky price tags and rip up things or break down boxes. A broken nail close to the day will cause havoc and mean a last-minute panic fix.

Brides flooded the comments with gratitude for the simple hack. One commented: “Best tip!! Haven't heard it on Wedding TikTok yet.” Whilst another said: "I did this yesterday - such a good tip" A third person said: "Best tip!! Haven't heard it on Wedding TikTok yet."
