Air ambulance crashes killing all passengers including pilot, patient and nurse
Five people including a patient and a nurse were killed in a horror air ambulance plane crash on Friday evening.
Police received reports of a potential plane crash near Stagecoach, Nevada, US at around 9.15pm and found wreckage just two hours later.
Care Flight, which provides ambulance service by plane and helicopter, confirmed that there were no survivors.
The plane, later identified as a PC 12 fixed-wing aircraft, had five people on board including a pilot, a flight nurse, a flight paramedic, a patient and a patient’s family member.
The company said in a statement: "We are heartbroken to report that we have now received confirmation from Central Lyon County Fire Department that none of the five people on board survived.

The Regional Emergency Medical Services Authorities, who provide emergency medical services in Nevada, confirmed it was notifying the victim's families.
It said: "Care Flight, a service of REMSA Health, headquartered in Reno, Nevada and Guardian Flight, headquartered in Utah, can confirm that a PC 12 fixed-wing aircraft, tail number N273SM, went off radar Friday, Feb. 24, at approximately 9:45 p.m., near Stagecoach, Nevada.
"Our immediate focus is helping our team members and families, as well as the responding agencies.
"As is Guardian and Care Flight’s safety process in these situations, we are in a passive stand down for all Guardian and Care Flight flights across the company.
"We will work with each of our operations to ascertain when they are able to return to service."
Care Flight said it is halting flights while it focuses on helping responding agencies, team members and families.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by authorities.
It is the second crash to kill five people after a plane taking off from Little Rock, Arkansas plummeted on Wednesday.
The plane was heading to Cleveland, Ohio, when it was carrying pilot Sean Sweeney and passengers Micah Kendrick, Kyle Bennett, Gunter Beaty and Glenmarkus Walker.

But just moments after taking off the plane crashed killing all five passengers.
The crash is being investigated by the federal aviation.
