Holly Willoughby enjoys burger as bleary-eyed celebs leave NTAs boozy afterparty
Celebrities were out in force for last night's National Television Awards at the O2 Arena and many lapped up the chance to celebrate the biggest night of television.
Following the star-studded ceremony which saw Holly Willoughby and This Morning lose out to The Repair Shop following a difficult year, everybody decided to let loose. But while Alison Hammond found herself going up against Ant and Dec for the Best TV presenter, she certainly didn't mind them winning.
Shortly after the ceremony, celebs flocked to the swanky after-party to celebrate their victory as well as drown their sorrows after losing out on an award.
The likes of EastEnders' Letitia Dean looked as though she'd had a great time as she left the lavish after-party in a chauffeur-driven car while grinning for the hoards of cameras, who were eager to catch a glimpse of her. The actress who is known for playing Sharon Watts on the BBC soap looked sensational after partying the night away in a white jumpsuit which perfectly complimented her ever-shrinking frame. Despite the dark nighttime sky, the Sharon actress donned a pair of sunglasses with orange lenses over her eyes as she folded her arms and sat in the back of a car.
Meanwhile, her co-star Bobby Brazier, who was left speechless when he won the NTA Rising Star award for his portrayal of Freddie Slater, looked all partied out as he squatted towards the floor while glaring at his phone as he clutched his prestigious award in one hand. The son of Jeff Brazier and Jade Goody praised his father for teaching him to believe in himself from an early age. Another image shows Bobby, 20, looking rather tired as he stood outside the venue with his eyes closed as he awaited a cab to take him back home.
Phillip Schofield mocks Molly-Mae's baby name in cruel swipe at Love Island starThis Morning star Holly Willoughby was left visibly blown away when it emerged This Morning hadn't won their 13th NTA in the wake of the recent Phillip Schofield drama. It was the first time that This Morning had failed to win the best Daytime award in thirteen years. The snub comes after reports emerged suggesting This Morning has lost almost 200,000 viewers after the show returned after the summer break on Monday.
But as Holly left the showbiz do, while she is known for partying til all hours, the 42-year-old made the most of her and her husband Dan Baldwin's night away from the kids. Making their way back to their London home, Holly decided to swap shots of tequila and late-night games including Pie Face for a juicy burger. She told fans: "Say (quarter pounder with) CHEESE," as she tucked into the dish while rocking a full face of make-up and wearing several diamonds. Holly is known for enjoying her night at the NTAs with her and former best friend and co-star Phillip Schofield previously turning up to work just hours after they finished partying with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely.
Vicky Pattison made a name for herself partying on Geordie Shore and it appears she still has it as she was pictured all partied out the back of a car. The reality star turned best-selling author kicked back as she and her fiancé Ercan Ramadan stepped into a taxi to depart the after-party. The Newcastle-born star made sure she made the most of the extra legroom in the carriage as she rested her feet on a pull-down seat while resting her head against the window after her swift exit.
YouTube sensation and occasional Lorraine presenter Louise Pentland quickly brought herself back down to reality after enjoying her night at the event in a swanky box at the arena. The 38-year-old who often appears on Loose Women looked every inch the star as she dazzled on the red carpet in a stunning pink dress which wrapped around her waist as she posed for cameras. But moments after arriving home, the mum-of-two took to her Instagram to show the reality of her night as one of her false eyelashes clung onto her face following her night out. Hours after getting home from the celebrations, she told fans: "It's the morning after the night before, it's not quite 7am but it's the girl's first day at their schools today. I'm getting it together, today is going to be fuelled by caffeine and good makeup."
Elsewhere, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Rachel Lugo posed up a storm with her twin sister, Katie as they embraced the night. Businesswoman Rachel looked sensational in a striking black gown which featured a lace bodice and a plunging neckline as she risked a major wardrobe malfunction.
As the night went on, the reality star and interior designer took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she was risking things going extremely wrong. While posing with her twin, Rachel said: "Slightly nervous to dance at the after party... Wishing I'd brought extra boob tape." But she had an unexpected surprise as another post saw Katie grabbing Rachel's cleavage as she pulled a shocked face. She captioned the post: "@katietwinnykane not sure that's the solution."
The Loose Women ladies found themselves nominated for Best Daytime TV show alongside The Chase and This Morning. However, the cast sadly lost out to BBC One's The Repair Shop but they didn't let this dampen their spirits. Instead of heading out to a glitzy showbiz party, broadcaster Charlene White who also fronts ITV News decided to head for fast food. Taking to Instagram, she shared a snap of a delicious-looking menu and a member of staff packing up her order. She said: "First stop post-National Television Awards? Morley's in Peckham. Obvs."
Love Island stars were in high spirits as they danced the night away with Maya Jama. Tyrique took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip of him and his fellow Islanders sipping on drinks while they filmed a TikTok for Maya's profile. The Bristolian beauty looked sensational at the event but after making a swift exit, she decided to switch her killer heels for a pair of Nike Dunks along with her floor-length black dress.
