Danielle Lloyd has said she was "convinced she would die" as her baby dreams are now "over".

The mum-of-five has been honest about a recent serious health scare which has meant she is not able to carry any more children. Danielle had to wait an agonising six weeks for results of a biopsy after experiencing unexplained bleeding.

Thankfully her results were clear after being rushed to hospital, with doctors finding ovarian cysts which were then tested for cancer. Danielle went to hospital due to heavy vaginal bleeding and large blood clots over three weeks. Despite being given the all-clear, her diagnoses means she will not be able to add any more children to her five strong brood.

The star opened up to Closer about the traumatic experience she said: "I was convinced I was going to die and was crying all the time. So when the doctor told me I was all clear, I felt this huge relief wash over me." She said she tried her best to act normally for her five children, Archie, 13, Harry, 12, George, 10, Ronnie, five and Autumn, one.

When Danielle rang 111 she was told to get to hospital where she was seen straight away. She was then asked if anyone in her family had cancer before, causing Danielle to panic.

Danielle had previously been diagnosed with endometriosis which is when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. She has now been diagnosed with adenomyosis (a gynecologic condition that causes endometrial tissue in the lining of the uterus to grow into the muscular wall of the uterus) and endometrioma (which are cystic lesions that stem from the disease process of endometriosis).

The 39-year-old was reportedly trying for baby number six with her husband Michael O'Neill but while the doctor said she may be able to get pregnant again, it would be high risk.

Danielle is set to have surgery to destroy the lining of her womb as well as having cysts removed. She has also chosen to be sterilised at the same time to prevent getting pregnant in the future. She said she would have liked Autumn to have had a baby sister but she is grateful for the five healthy children she has been able to have.
