Jadon Sancho given transfer warning as Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag questioned

The international break hasn't come at the best of times for Manchester United, who will have to wait to respond to their dramatic Sunday defeat.
United took the lead away to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium through Marcus Rashford, but couldn't hold on. Martin Odegaard delivered a quickfire equaliser and - after Alejandro Garnacho saw an effort disallowed for offside - Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus settled the game in the hosts' favour in stoppage time.
As well as the fall-out from that game, there have been plenty of other things going on around Old Trafford. Here, Mirror Football brings you all the latest.
Sancho told to consider Saudi
Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has suggested Jadon Sancho may need to consider moving to Saudi Arabia after falling out of favour at Old Traford. Erik ten Hag told reporters the England international was left out against Arsenal due to his displays in training, prompting a fiery response from Sancho.
The Saudi transfer window remains open until September 7, and Ferdinand wonders if it may provide a way out for the ex-Dortmund man. "There's no way Jadon is putting out a statement like that if he hasn't in his own eyes performed well," Ferdinand said on his FIVE YouTube channel.

"That's the difference as well. On his chart, Jadon [might think] - 'I've trained alright', but the manager might have a different standard. There's two ways this ends. There's only one window open now and that's Saudi. Or you're on the bench or not getting in the squad for the rest of the season."

Greenwood move 'declined'
Brentford were one of the teams to turn down a move for Mason Greenwood, according to The Athletic. The forward is said to have been offered to clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, with Getafe taking him on loan for the season.
The Spanish club will pay no loan fee for the England international, while United will cover the bulk of his wages. There is also no option for a permanent move, while - as is often the case in season-long deals - there is a January break clause in place.
A number of other European clubs are said to have passed on the chance to sign Greenwood, leaving Getafe and Lazio in the minority as interested parties. Ultimately, after no deal was done before the Italian window shut, Greenwood was free to move to Spain.

Ten Hag persistence questioned
Former England striker Ian Wright has queried how long Erik ten Hag can continue persisting with Antony over Alejandro Garnacho. Argentina starlet Garnacho came off the bench against Wright's former club Arsenal on Sunday, nearly winning the game for United only for an offside call to intervene.
"Man United have got the kind of players [to attack more]," Wright told Premier League Productions. "We saw it with Garnacho, who I cannot believe does not start in front of someone like Antony.
"He [Garnacho] can come on in that game and, even if you’re playing in that style of football, he’s surely going to be better than what Antony is giving you at this particularly moment. We saw it in that little cameo there what he did."
