It's a really tough question! (credit: ITV)

There's no better feeling than putting your feet up after a long day at work and watching a beloved quiz show. No evening is the same without being tested on our general knowledge with tricky questions, and scrambling our brains to find the right answers. Some of the most popular British quiz shows, which most people can agree on, include The Chase, Tipping Point, Only Connect, and The 1% Club.

The 1% Club quickly became the nation's firm favourite show after it first aired on ITV in 2022. Comedian Lee Mack hosts the quiz show which sees 100 contestants all compete by answering 15 logic-inspired questions only 1 percent of the country can get right in hopes of winning a £10,000 cash prize in the end. One question from the show appears to have left many people baffled, as they couldn't seem to work out the answer.

The question is: "On a digital 24-hour clock that displays hours, minutes, and seconds, how many times in each 24-hour period do all six digit change simultaneously?" Some viewers and online users were completely stumped, with one person saying: "That final question was hellish." A second person said: "I would not have got the last question right under pressure and time constraints."

Don't worry if this takes you a bit longer than the questions you're able to fire off with ease at your local pub quiz. This is a question that will pretty much confuse anyone even if you think you've got an extraordinarily sharp mind for logic and puzzle-solving.

It was one of the tough questions Lee dished out during the first series when contestants competed in the tense final. But you don't need to worry if you got some of the questions from the show wrong in the past, as the comedian had a hard time himself. "I'm not going to lie – I went through the whole first series without getting a 1%. The best I did was a 5% question", he said.

Find the answer to the question down below

We admit the question is a head-scratcher, but the right answer is, in fact, three, as the display changes from 09:59:59 to 10:00:00 and when 19:59:59 becomes 20:00:00 and finally as 23:59:59 changes to 00:00:00. If you found that question too easy, why not try this one from the same show - except only 1% of people are able to answer it.
