Geordie Shore fan-favourite Holly Hagan is considering ear reduction surgery, citing how her ears are "two completely different sizes". The 31-year-old also explained that she has tried to "accept" that her ears are different shapes for her entire life, but it "at a point now" where she could go under the knife to balance them.

Taking to the stories section of her Instagram account in a Q&A session, Holly answered fan questions on a number of topics - including physical and mental health, planned parenthood and exercising. She was then probed by a follower with regards to if she was considering any operations or beauty treatments in the near future.

To which, Hagan detailed how she was considering otoplasty - a surgery to correct structural ear abnormalities. She wrote: "I have actually been seriously thinking about getting my otoplasty which is ear reduction. I have two completely different ears and I swear my big one is getting bigger I wouldn't mind if they were both the same but ones like a little mouse ear!

"I've really tried to accept it for 31 years but I'm just at a point now where I'd just love to not constantly think about if my ear is sticking out of my hair! If anyone knows a good surgeon for this in the Manchester area let me know."

The NHS describes otoplasty - sometimes known as pinnaplasty - as a form of ear correction surgery, in which, the ears are pinned back. Although it is available for free on the National Health Service - particularly for children - private surgery can cost between £2,500 and £3,500 plus consultation costs and follow up care fees.

It comes after Holly last year spoke about her regrets with previous surgeries - as a result of a "lifetime of weight issues, eating disorder and being bullied for being fat". Taking to social media, the Teesside-born reality-TV star urged her followers to think twice before committing to cosmetic surgery as a "quick fix" - instead suggesting that people implement lifestyle changes.

Posting a before and after video - highlighting a five-year body transformation - Holly, wrote: " 5 years ago to now I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the changes I have made to my lifestyle to get me where I am today. The first video was after not one but TWO rounds of BBL.

"I didn’t go into these surgeries lightly. It took years of appearance based abuse before I finally decided enough was enough and I was going to get the body of my dreams! How wrong was I!" She also detailed the horrific messages she received from online trolls after undergoing surgery.

She added: "As much as I tried to hide it, it was pretty noticeable and instead the comments just went from 'fat s**g' to 'too much surgery she looked better before' overnight. I was left with such an awful amount of shame having paid so much money, equivalent to a house deposit. To be left looking worse than when I started. SURGERY WILL NOT SOLVE THE ISSUES YOU HAVE WITH FOOD!!"

Holly also detailed that it was when she met her now husband and father to son Alpha Jax, Jacob Blyth that things "finally clicked". She added: "This is 3 years of hard graft day in day out practicing what I preach. With the knowledge I have now I’ve only actually been in an actual gym twice this year and have made aerobic fun dance workouts that work for me.

"But the point is I’m having to live with the saggy deflated bag of jelly I have left for a bum and there’s no way I’m going through more surgery to attempt to fix it so I will live with my mistakes. I’m proud of the healthy, balanced, non restrictive lifestyle I’ve managed to achieve and if me sharing my story helps even one person reconsider surgery it was worth sharing."
