A music-loving dog escaped from home and snuck into a Metallica gig - with her panicked owners only discovering where she was when a photo of her 'having the time of her life' went viral. Arizbeth Hurtado was heartbroken when husky Storm went missing on Friday and spent three hours driving round the neighbourhood looking for her to no avail.

The following day the 23-year-old dental office receptionist and her parents went looking again for the pooch, who they've had since a puppy, but were devastated when they couldn't spot her. It was only when a family member suggested putting up a missing dog post that the rebellious pooch was caught red-handed apparently enjoying the heavy metal band's concert at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, US.

A hilarious snap shows Storm sat in a seat with her tongue hanging out of her mouth apparently enjoying the gig, where ticket prices started at £69.99 plus fees. The initial post, by The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, initially believed Storm had been abandoned at the stadium and needed an emergency foster home - until Arizbeth messaged them.

But Storm's act of teen-like rebellion came with a cost as she was picked up by a nearby dog pound and spayed before she was sheepishly allowed home - costing her owners $200 (£158). Thrilled, Arizbeth said she and her family will be keeping a closer eye on Storm to ensure she doesn't get out again and into any other music gigs.

Arizbeth Hurtado, from Inglewood, California, US, said: "We've had Storm since she was born. She's crazy and super-hyper, she loves to run around, jump and play. My parents live right across the street [from the stadium] they were doing parking for the concert because they have a big yard.

"They thought Storm was in her little house but now we think that she slipped out of the gate because the gate was open. "When we stopped doing parking we were like 'where's Storm?' We couldn't find her, we got in our cars to go look around for three hours and we couldn't see her.

"We were worried and really sad, we've had since she was three months' old. Saturday comes, we go out to look for her again. Me and my parents were saying 'there's no way someone could have picked her up because she's super hyper'.

"My aunt said 'post her on a Facebook lost dogs page', we were looking on the sites to post her and then we saw a post about a dog being inside the So-Fi stadium. You could see it was a husky and it looked just like her. We knew it was her, we could tell by the print on her fur.

"We were laughing, we were like 'how the hell did she get in? She's literally inside the concert'. In that picture she's sitting on a seat like she had a ticket for her seat. She looks like she's having the time of her life at the concert.

"She's not shown an interest in Metallica before but my parents are always playing loud music in their backyard so she's totally used to loud music and loves it." Relieved Arizbeth and her family tracked down Storm to a nearby pound and paid the $200 fee to get her back - after she'd been spayed.

Arizbeth said: "We started calling the dog pounds and found the one who had picked her up form the stadium. Storm was so sad she started crying right away, she wanted to come home. We had to get her fixed then we were able to pick her up on Monday morning. She was a little that first day we got her back but by the next morning she was perfectly fine. We're not making sure we're keeping the gate closed." SoFi stadium has been contacted for comment.
