The £12.99 airline cabin bag has gone viral on Tiktok
A £12.99 "viral TikTok bag" from Amazon has been a big hit with savvy travellers this summer, with its diminutive dimensions helping flyers navigate their way around Ryanair's strict baggage policy.
The viral Narwey bag meets the super small Ryanair restrictions, meaning that is it also suitable for use on a host of other popular airlines including Easyjet, British Airways, Jet2, Wizz Air and Virgin Atlantic, as well as other international carriers.
Despite being pretty basic design-wise, TikTokkers can't get enough of the £12.99 bag that comes in a variety of colours and designs. Never one to miss out on a travel trend, I ordered one to try at home.

Designed to fit Ryanair’s small cabin bag measurements, the Narwey duffle bag is made of a thin and flexible nylon fabric. It has a handy pocket on the side for easy access to your most used items, and a luggage strap that allows you to slide the bag over the handle of my spinner suitcase.
Abandoned UK airport plans relaunch with budget flights to Spain and CyprusMeasuring a Ryanair-friendly 40x20x25cm the internal space has a large opening and the Tardis-like capacity to hold everything you need for a few nights away. I threw in two pairs of jeans, three T-shirts, one hoodie, two dresses, a swimsuit, socks, undies, a spare pair of trainers and my travel toiletries with no trouble at all.
Despite its bargain price of just £12.99, it is a very handy little bag with a sturdy, water-resistant fabric construction, spacious main compartment and extra zipper pocket. If you're like me and can't be bothered to mess around with hold luggage, it is a great choice for travellers who would rather stick to the free hand luggage-only option with Ryanair.
Easy to purchase from Amazon with next-day delivery for Prime members, the basic Narwey bag costs £11.99, or £12.99 with a handy shoulder strap included. It's also suitable to use as an overnight bag, and I'll be using mine for the gym when I'm not using it to get away.
But, while it has undoubtedly been a brilliant buy for anyone looking to maximise their packing power, it's not the only bag designed to meet the strict 40 x 20 x 25cm dimensions that are going for a song. Travellers' favourite, Amazon, is offering a range of cabin bags all of which are compact enough to fit under the seat in front of you on your Ryanair flight.
My favourite alternatives include:
Decathlon Kipsta Bag
Compact enough to fit under the seat in front of you even when full, the simple Decathlon Kipsta 20L Essential Bag is the perfect choice for travellers who are watching their pennies.
This 20L bag has essentially been designed to carry a basic sports kit but is also an excellent choice for hand luggage whilst travelling.
The lightweight cabin bag folds up nice and small when not in use, and the extra compartment is useful for stashing your passport and other essentials, or even your trainers if you choose to use it for the gym.
It seems that we are not the only ones to sing the Kipsta bag's praises, with many travellers already having worked out what an awesome little carry-on this is. The bag has received over 1400 reviews on the Decathlon website, with many being similar to this review that said: "The bag is the perfect size for Ryanair cabin luggage. Plenty of room for three days worth of stuff and love the way they fold into the pocket for storage."
Available in a choice of three eye-catching colourways, this unbelievable little bag costs a mere £6.99 and can be ordered online at Decathlon.co.uk or picked up in-store if there are any still in stock.
Parents leave baby at airport check-in to avoid paying more for Ryanair flightPalamea Cabin Bag
The sleek Palamea Cabin Bag comes in an upscale black colourway and promises to remain durable and water-resistant to keep your gear safe on the go.
Measuring up at 40x25x20cm it is the perfect size for your next Ryanair flight and it comes with grab handles, a shoulder strap and a trolley-sleeve for easy carrying.
In terms of storage space, it has a decent-sized main compartment, along with two side pockets that are useful for keeping your passport, phone and other essentials close at hand.
Currently available on Amazon for £10.99, it's just a smidge over a tenner, but its compact dimensions and discreet good looks make it an excellent choice for anyone who wants a fuss-free receptacle to carry their stuff on the plane.
Shaine Waterproof Holdall
Another great little bag that meets those all-important measurements of 40x25x20cm, the Shaine Waterproof Holdall is plain but perfectly formed.
Made from high-quality, waterproof material, it comes with a reinforced zipper and super-strong stitching. It also offers a reasonable size main storage compartment along with an additional zipper pocket for easy access to your passport, headphones and other travel essentials.
Like many of these smaller cabin bags, this one can also be folded flat when not in use, and available in a choice of simple black or grey colourways it's a practical piece that says "I'm a savvy traveller who knows how to pack."
This bag does not come with a shoulder strap but buyers still seem to love it saying: "Perfect size for cabin luggage" and calling it an "Amazing purchase."
At just £8.49, this is a great little bag that won't break the bank.
Ecohub Ryanair Cabin Bag
Made from recycled bottles, the ECOHUB Ryanair Cabin Bag looks like it has been built to go the distance, despite its incredibly reasonable £11.99 price tag.
Measuring 40x20x25cm, it features a large opening for easy access when packing, an inside pocket for important items, an external storage pocket and it even comes with a keychain. It also has the obligatory trolley sleeve allowing the bag to slide over the handle of your suitcase on the go.
It is the high-quality feel of this cabin bag that seems to set it apart from its competitors, with one highly satisfied traveller saying: "I am extremely impressed with the exceptional quality of this item. The stitching is immaculate, resembling the finely crafted seat belts found in high-end luxury cars. The front pocket is incredibly spacious and capable of accommodating numerous items such as a passport, wallet, hand sanitiser, AirPods case, and even a pack of crisps."
Flyers can pick up the Ecohub bag in a choice of 22 different colour ways and it is currently being touted as an "Amazon's Choice" product, meaning many other shoppers are just as interested in it as we are.
