Donald Trump's 'embarrassing' legal issues 'are not Melania's only focus'
Former first lady Melania Trump has remained silent following Donald Trump's Georgia indictment and release of his mug shot and an insider has said that his "embarrassing" legal issues are not her sole focus.
Trump’s mugshot was taken after he was arrested at Fulton County jail in Atlanta on fraud charges after his interference in the 2020 Presidential election and accusations of inciting violence from his supporters. This marks first time a US President has ever had a mugshot taken and his wife is keeping quiet about the matter.
A Trump family insider told People magazine: "Melania knows who her husband is, and while she deplores the indictments as much as her husband, she wouldn’t be surprised by his mug shot or make comments about it," they continued: "Of course these criminal charges are embarrassing to Melania and to Donald, but life goes on and each reacts to stress in different ways.”

They added: "Melania is busy with her son and family and she pays only so much attention to these issues which captivate the media."
The insider explained that Trump's mug shot being released does not upset her any more than any other legal case that her husband has been involved with. As a partner to Trump, Melania has become accustomed to the constant media attention. They told the news outlet: "She also knows he loves to be the center of attention whether the subject is good or bad. He has been this way since the day she met him," and added: "A mug shot that everyone is talking about is just one more issue to wade through.”

Despite her silence Melania shares the same anger as her husband regarding the indictment, according to insiders (Getty Images)The insider told the news outlet that she continues to support her husband, but wants to stay out of the spotlight herself to focus on her own life in Palm Beach and raising her teenage son. The source added Melania is good at handling her own private business and will not publicly comment on any lawsuits or legal matters pertaining to her close family.
But despite her choice to remain quiet in legal matters, the insider assured the news outlet that she shares the same anger and viewpoint as her husband with the belief that the current legal issues he is experiencing are "election interference" by his rivals.
