Wizards of Waverly Place stars now - from beauty guru to Dancing with the Stars
The Wizards of Waverly Place first aired back in 2007 and catapulted the likes of Selena Gomez and David Henrie to teen fame. The show followed a family of wizards, husband and wife, Jerry and Teresa Russo, played by David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera and their three kids, Alex (Selena), Justin (David Henrie) and Max (Jake T Austin).
Together, the kids would learn about wizardry from their father, who gave up his magic to be with Teresa. As the families grapple with life and magic, they also run a café in New York. The show ran for four seasons until 2012 and launched two spin-off TV movies. During the show, Selena was able to reach musical success as well as being an acting star, starring in teen films like Monte Carlo, Ramona and Beezus and Spring Breakers.
After the show she went on to release six albums, three solo ones and three with her band, The Scene. She's been nominated for two Grammy awards and while working on her music, has dated the likes of The Weeknd and famously, Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, her on-screen brother David has starred in Walt Before Mickey and Reagan since working on Wizards of Waverly Place and has released his feature film directorial debut with This Is the Year, which was produced by Selena.
Jake went on to appear in The Fosters, a drama series, from 2013 to 2015 before becoming a voice actor in kids films like Rio and The Emoji Movie. He recently made headlines after fellow actor Nat Wolf revealed that Jake allegedly asked him to pee in a cup for him when he needed to pass a drug test before booking a role.

He was saying, 'I need to get some furniture so I'm gonna steal some furniture off the set. Do you want to help me steal some furniture on the set?'"
Jennifer Stone, who viewers will remember played as Alex's quirky and creative best pal Harper, currently works on a podcast with David, who played Jerry. The Wizards of Waverly Pod welcomed Selena on via video call and the 30-year-old shared she'd just had a three hour therapy session so was "feeling all the feels".

Jennifer hosts the Wizards of Waverly Pod (FilmMagic)In a candid conversation, David asked the star what was the "biggest mistake of her life" - to which Selena replied: "not staying in touch." David teared up as Selena confessed: "I felt ashamed of the decisions that I made.
"I didn't want you guys to see me in the state that I was in, because a. you would have told me the truth, which terrifies me, and b. I didn't want to let you down."
Jerry also has acting credits in Shameless, NCIS, Hawaii Five-O and This Is Us, while his on-screen wife Maria had a main role on Cristela and scored guest spots on shows like Last Man Standing, The Big Bang Theory and Fuller House.
