1000-lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton has dropped six dress sizes after huge weight loss

Tammy Slaton has been inundated with praise from fans as she revealed she's dropped an impressive six dress sizes following her huge weight loss.

The 1000-lb Sisters star, 37, has lost a whopping 400lb (28.6 stone) after changing her life and following a very strict diet. Taking to TikTok on Saturday, Tammy announced that she's gone from a size 8xl to a size 2xl.

She shared a series of snaps of herself posing in the mirror and showing off her weight loss results. In the pictures, Tammy wore a funky pair of purple and black pants and a black T-shirt.

She also rocked a light blue denim shirt. The TLC reality star accessorised her outfit with several rings, bangles and the sunflower bandana she's been sporting in recent pictures.

Striking a pose in a bathroom mirror, Tammy threw a peace sign up to the camera. She went for a makeup-free appearance and pulled her curly red hair back into a ponytail.

Captioning the post, Tammy wrote: "From wearing 8xl in clothes to a 2xl." Fans rushed to offer their congratulations.

One person commented: "So freakin awesome," while another said: "Wow beautiful!" Another fan left a fire emoji in the comments, while others added red heart emojis.

Tammy documented her weight loss journey on 1000-lb Sisters and it's safe to say it wasn't an easy ride for her. She originally weighed in at 717lb (51 stone) and spent time in a food rehabilitation centre as she worked at turning her life around.

During one scary incident, Tammy was rushed to hospital when she stopped breathing at the facility. She was put on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma.

Luckily, despite her body "shutting down", she was eventually well enough to return to rehab and continue with her weight loss. For a while, Tammy had to use an oxygen machine to help her breath after her lungs were damaged when she was on life support.

Since then, she's been able to ditch the oxygen cannula. Tammy has now lost almost 400lb in total, with her recently reported to have weighted in at around 340lb (24.3 stone).
