Notting Hill Carnival best dressed celebs - Jourdan Dunn to Leigh Anne Pinnock
Notting Hill Carnival is guaranteed to bring out some incredible looks as revellers head down to West London for the bank holiday bonanza.
The annual festival, which kicks off tomorrow, is famed for its star-studded attendees, who make sure their outfits are inspired as they party away with their pals. From Jourdan Dunn's glamorous gold boob tube to Shona McGarty's striking space buns - stars go the extra mile with their colourful attire and show-stopping hairstyles.
So, as we get ready to stick on some sequins and feathers and head over to Portobello Road for a boogie and a burger, here's the best dressed celebrities that have made Notting Hill Carnival that extra bit special.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Leigh-Anne Pinnock positively sizzled when she rocked up in a tiny rainbow crochet bra at Notting Hill Carnival in 2019.
Adele breaks down in tears as fan shows her photo of his late wife at Vegas showThe Little Mix star teamed her top with a dramatic yellow tulle tutu from MySuitcase Boutique, which she paired with crisp white trainers. She finished off the look with some large hoop earrings and rainbow eyeshadow and looked like she was having a ball as as she partied with her pals in Portobello.
Alexandra Burke
Alexandra Burke looked sensational when she attended Notting Hill Carnival last year - just weeks after giving birth to her first child. The former X Factor winner joined crowds at the two-day festival, which kicked off following a two year hiatus after Covid.
As part of the 'Pumps on Parade' campaign, Alexandra took to the streets alongside her fellow parade-goers on Monday. The singer pulled out all the stops with her colourful outfit featuring a bedazzled bodysuit and fishnet tights.
The elaborate costume was also complete with an incredible feather wing display. Alexandra also sported an Elvie Stride breast pump, which could be seen as part of her outfit.
Jourdan Dunne
Supermodel Jourdan Dunne looked sensational when she slipped into a pair of gold ruffled trousers with matching boob tube on the Red Bull Music X Mangrove float at Notting Hill Carnival in 2018 in London.
The catwalk queen wore her long hair in braids and added a pair of yellow-tone glasses to complete the look. Also wearing white trainers for all the dancing she did aboard the float, the model held her Red Bull cup up as she partied the day away.
Shona McGarty
Shona McGarty looked like she'd put her EastEnders character Whitney Dean's troubles behind her when she partied up a storm at the carnival last year.
Sporting a multicoloured sequin bra and orange flared leggings, along with a blue bum bag and red sunglasses, the actress danced the day away, wearing her hair in two space buns, which she tied up with pink scrunchies. The soap star also opted for a bright makeup look and drew a heart at the corner of her eye.
Cara Delevingne
Another model that made her mark at Notting Hill is Cara Delevingne. The Suicide Squad star was a vision in a floral vest top, low slung black trousers and floral headband when she rocked up in 2013.
The actress looked like she was having a great time at the carnival as she swished her blonde crimped hair, sporting a slick of berry lipstick and smokey eye. Cara is a regular at the Notting Hill parade and also at Coachella Festival in California.
Adele
Adele managed to create one of the festivals most talked about looks... despite not actually attending in person.
The superstar singer stunned fans when she posted snap of herself in bikini bearing the Jamaican flag, tie-dye leggings, a gold feathered headdress and Bantu knots, a traditional African hairstyle when the carnival was forced to go online in lockdown.
"Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London," she wrote in the caption as she lamented missing the annual event, which was celebrated virtually in 2021 due to Covid.
Many of her fans thought she looked sensational, although the Easy On Me star did come under a bit of flack for 'cultural appropriation' due to her hairstyle.
However, supermodel Naomi Campbell, whose mother was born in Jamaica - threw her support behind the Tottenham-born singer, posting two heart emojis alongside two Jamaican flag icons in the comment section.
