If you grew up in the noughties, you’ll no doubt remember the extra-glossy lips we all loved back then. Well, Lancôme has sent beauty lovers wild by bringing back its famous Juicy Tubes lip gloss that was a must for nailing the early 2000s makeup trend.

The French beauty brand has been receiving praise from makeup fans since its cult classic returned to the shelves. More than 1,000 reviewers have expressed their delight at the lip gloss, which costs £25 here, with many raving about its non-sticky finish.

After launching in 2000, Lancôme Juicy Tubes quickly became a staple in many beauty bags and were particularly loved for being so easy to apply. The lip gloss comes in a tube-tip applicator, so you can simply press and go. We're already feeling nostalgic!

Lancôme discontinued its much-loved product in 2018, after the rise of Instagram filters made many of us step away from glossy formulas in favor of overlined, matte lips.

The beauty brand recently decided to bring back its popular lip product for the millions of makeup lovers now wanting to embrace the Y2K look. There are three finishes to choose from - sparkle, creamy and jelly - in a range of scented hues.

One five-star reviewer said: "I’ve been using Juicy Tubes for nearly 20 years. It’s the best lip gloss for any age providing slight color and perfect coverage. I’ve tried others and no way do they compare to my go to... Juicy Tube. Please don’t stop making it."

A second added: "This is the best lip gloss I have ever owned," while a third penned: "My lips are so juicy and look so full when I wear this lip gloss".

But some beauty fans weren't pleased with the finish of Lancôme's lip gloss, with some calling it "sticky" and "heavy".

The full Juicy Tubes range is available to shop at lancome.co.uk.

For a similar look, we'd suggest trying Charlotte Tilbury's Jewel Lips lip gloss - which comes in two flattering shades. Costing £22, it illuminates and hydrates the lips for a plump appearance.
