After a very eventful Gamescom Opening Night Live, we've compiled every single reveal, update and trailer so you're up to date.

Gamescom Opening Night Live had trailers galore, showcasing a range of brand-new titles as well as new content for existing and already announced titles. Gamescom 2023 blessed us with a long-awaited Diablo 4 Season 2 trailer, a Tekken 8 release date, and of course a fan crashing the stage making demands for GTA 6, just as you'd expect off the back of last year's Gamescom interruption.

Geoff Keighley, Gamescom Opening Night Live host and producer, was interrupted by a fan who invaded the stage and began to chant 'Bill Clinton wants to play GTA 6' in reference to a stage invader at last year's game awards who was later dubbed 'Bill Clinton kid' and arrested. The crasher was then removed by security.

Despite the lack of a GTA 6 announcement, likely to the stage invader's dismay, we have seen some pretty fantastic content showcased during the show. You can find our Gamescom recap highlights just below as well as a full Gamescom recap underneath.

Diablo 4 season 2 release date trailer

With the first season of Diablo 4 well underway, it was about time we saw a glimpse of what to expect out of the next seasom, especially as the Diablo 4 Season 2 release date has already been announced. Officially called the Season of Blood, the new content will drop on October 17 and feature a new questline, new vampiric powers and five new endgame bosses which should hopefully do something to remedy complaints about the endgame.

Alan Wake 2 trailer

With the Alan Wake remaster hitting PS Plus in July, and Alan Wake 2 releasing this October, of course the game got a brand new. Remedy Entertainment title follows Alan's journey to escape The Dark Place – a nightmare realm – and the trailer really went to great lengths to make your skin crawl by combining live-action and in-game footage.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC trailer

Those who are eagerly waiting for the new Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC will be glad to hear that a new gameplay trailer was showcased. We got to have a peek at some of the new weapons, redesigned cyberware and new perks. Alongside this, we were able to gain some insight into what the new district will look like including some of the new story quests.

Mortal Kombat 1 trailer

Despite being named slightly strangely, Mortal Kombat 1 is follow up to Mortal Kombat 11 and this latest trailer showcased some absolutely brutal gameplay including severe fatalities which I am beyond excited to execute in the game. The reboot takes us back to the beginning of the Mortal Kombat franchise, following a young Raiden, Shao Khan.

Tekken 8 release date trailer

After leaks galore, we finally have official confirmation of the Tekken 8 release date, which will fall on January 26, 2024. This comes just a couple of weeks after the end of the competitive life of Tekken 7, allowing those high-level players to jump straight into the next title in the series. Tekken 8 will be coming to current-gen consoles only, so you're out of luck if you're on PS4 and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer

After getting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release date confirmation alongside the first teaser trailer earlier this month, I was somewhat surprised to see a gameplay trailer for the game already, let alone one that is 10 minutes long. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer allowed us to preview some lengthy gameplay straight out of the campaign for the new title.

Lords of the Fallen story trailer

After Mirror Gaming's content creator, Aaron Potter, delivered a glowing writeup of the Lords of the Fallen preview earlier this month )alongside interviewing the developers over on the Mirror Gaming Youtube Channel) I was at the edge of my seat to see what was coming next for Lords of the Fallen. This trailer showcased some of the fantastic stories on offer from the game and will definitely appeal to Soulslike fans.

The Crew Motorfest release date trailer

The Crew Motorfest release date was finally confirmed for gSeptember 14, 2023. The Forza Horizon 5 style title from Ubisoft will also feature a free trial, allowing players who are unsure about whether or not they want to pick up the title to play for five hours between September 14 and September 17. You can also pre-order right now and get your hands on some bonus content.

Crimson Desert gameplay trailer

After going AWOL for a while, Crimson Desert has finally resurfaced and looks better than ever. The trailer showcased lengthy gameplay for the open-world action title, which is set in medieval times. Despite not having a release date confirmed yet, it seems that Pearl Abyss will be dropping the title sometime soon given the showcase at Gamescom.

The First Descendant – open beta trailer

Those waiting for a brand new looter shooter, like myself, are in luck with The First Descendant beta coming very soon. The First Descendant is a third-person co-op shooter from Nexon Games and the trailer featured some cool gameplay scenes as well as some of the environments which we can expect to see. It goes without saying that I've already registered for the open beta.
