Chris Tarrant slams Tyson Fury's claims they had huge row as 'total nonsense'

Chris Tarrant has dismissed claims made by Tyson Fury suggesting that the pair once became locked in a feud.

Tyson, 35, alleges he and Chris had a "big row" at a Scottish resort some years ago during a discussion on his new Netflix show, At Home With the Furys. The Gypsy King and his family have allowed cameras to follow them around for the first time as they embrace life within the Fury household, as well as extended members of his family.

Throughout the series, Tyson hasn't held back when discussing certain topics and his boxing opponents certainly didn't escape. But one revelation viewers didn't expect is an alleged row between him and former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host, Chris Tarrant.

After planning a trip to Gleneagles in Scotland with his wife Paris Fury, Tyson joked: "I had a big row with Chris Tarrant the last time I was there." But Chris, 76, has now responded and appears to suggest that recollections may vary about their interaction.

"It is complete nonsense, I've never even met him," he said, before adding: "My wife and I got into a crowded lift with Tyson in it, we didn't even speak and I got out at the next floor. There was no row; not a word was exchanged and we never saw him again!" Chris continued to state that he admires Tyson's legacy before adding that any suggestion they had a row was "rubbish".

During the episode in question, Paris and Tyson head off to Scotland, despite the World Heavyweight Champion saying he "Can't be a***d" with the gruelling six-hour drive. "Can't believe we're talking about it, arguing about it, whatever you wanna call it, not interested," he said.

Later on, Paris addresses the cameras and Tyson's mood swings as she says: "Once he gets triggered into a bad mood, he can't seem to get out of it the same as a normal person. So he can make stress seem so stressful and there's really nothing going on." Since the programme dropped on the streaming service, viewers have branded Paris a "Saint" for putting up with her husband.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan of Paris gushed: "Only one episode into At Home With The Fury's and Paris deserves a medal and more." While another echoed: "Paris Fury, take a bow. What an amazing woman, wife, mother, and all round hero."

Someone else shared: "At Home With The Fury's is a shockingly honest account of an extremely complex man. Not what I was expecting at all. Paris Fury steals the show. She is nothing short of a Saint for how she handles everything."

"Paris Fury seems like such a lovely soul. Like a true, genuine, loving woman who wants nothing but the best for her husband. She's taken a back seat and allowed him to become the man he is, and now it's her time to shine. What a remarkable young woman who hasn't forgotten her roots through it all," another fan gushed.
