Love Island's Malin Andersson has revealed she is in Accident and Emergency after being left suffering from severe pain.

The star took to her Instagram page and shared a snap taken in the waiting room as she explained that she was suffering "bad stomach pain". Malin's hospital trip comes just several weeks after she became unwell and was left throwing up for several days.

But now it appears she's suffering again and made the decision to present herself to hospital staff after enduring severe pain in her abdomen region. Sitting in the waiting area of her local hospital, Malin told fans: "Back at hospital. Bad stomach pain again, getting fed up it hurt so much and making me feel depressed."

Prior to her admission, Malin enjoyed a day out with her daughter Xaya as the pair walked through woodlands before heading home for an afternoon filled with crafts and playing with Play Dough. The star has previously opened up about her battle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome which she explained could be "painful and difficult to live with".

Speaking previously Malin said: "I developed IBS in my teenage years, after struggling with my self-image I abused laxatives to empty out my body. I remember waking up each day with awful cramps and having to go toilet just so I could 'look and feel skinnier'"I now suffer in my adult life and struggle to eat gluten and other types of food that make my tummy sensitive. IBS is an untreatable condition however in my day-to-day life I've learned to handle it and keep it under control. I now avoid my flare-ups, and know what diet works for me to keep my tummy at ease.

"Stress has a lot to do with it, when I keep my mind calm, limit stress, eat well, exercise and stay positive I rarely have flare-ups." Since leaving the show, Malin has become an advocate for raising awareness of domestic abuse after suffering at the hands of an ex-partner.

Opening up to the Mirror about her decision to speak out, she said: "That was a really tough time because when I was going through the court process, I wasn't able to really speak about anything. I was suffering by bad because it was actually just it was during my pregnancy with Consy and then when she died as well, it was carrying on because he was the father of her.

"With that, I was very scared about speaking about it in case he would do something to me. I literally thought f**k this, I've got nothing to lose, if I can help another woman because I felt so trapped, I'd never experienced anything like it.Not just the physical but the emotional abuse, it was mental."
