Celebs Go Dating didn't get off to the best start for Love Island star Adam Collard on Sunday night, in awkward scenes.
Moments after "confident" Adam said he'd have no issue of being turned down, when it came to picking two girls from the mixer to go on a date with, he was rejected in brutal fashion. The dating agency experts tasked Adam with picking two girls to take out following the celebrity mixer.
As he picked his second choice out of all the girls at the mixer, who were stood in front of him, he got a knock-back he did not expect. The celebrities, the experts and Adam were stood in front of a whole group of single men and women awaiting the results.
As Adam said he wanted to take a woman named Natalie on a date, after failing to speak to her all evening, he was expecting her to say yes. But Natalie quickly turned him down in cringe scenes.

While saying he was her type, she decided not to go for it with the Love Island star - who became the first ever UK contestant to compete on the ITV2 series twice last year.

She told him: "You are my usual type but that hasn’t worked out for me as of yet." As she added she already had her eye on someone else, she told Adam of his offer: "Maybe not on this occasion."
As she looked awkwardly at Adam, everyone else either gasped or mocked the moment with Adam clearly stunned. It was only moments earlier in a VT that he said there was no chance of him facing rejection.

It has not been revealed who Lottie will take on her dates, while Adam and Lottie were said to look cosy after reportedly going on a string of dates together.
Speaking to The Mirror about the possible romance, the show's dating expert Anna Williamson remained schtum although teased: "The celebrity dating agency is a very emotional place where emotions often run high and celebrities spend an awful lot of time together getting to know each other and often cling on to each other when it comes to the vulnerable world of being put out on dates by us agents.
"It's quite a thing now where celebrities do tend to gravitate towards each other. It has happened in previous series and we will get behind it if we feel that it is something of substance to follow and to explore. Let's just say, I don't want to give any spoilers away, but let's just say there are a lot of emotions running high between a couple of celebrities in particular within the agency this series..."
Celebs Go Dating continues Monday at 9pm on E4.
